Mark your calendars NOW!
It's that time again! It's the annual BIGGEST-little model contest in SOUTHeast Minnesota! We welcome all modelers of all ages and interests! Contest registration starts 9:00 and awards at 3:00. See the map on right side of the page above for the contest place. We'll have signs as always to guide you in. The location is that same place we've held the show for the last three years.
We had another great contest and show last year and again had great weather and a wonderful turnout. We had over 110 models in the contest and on display. Because of the number of car class model entries at last year's show we are going to EXPAND our car class into three categories. We welcome all the car modelers from the quad-state area to bring their car models.
This year we also hope to feature many award categories:
Aircraft 1/49th and smaller
Aitcraft 1/48th and larger
Armor 1/49th and smaller
Armor 1/48th and smaller
Figures (all scales)
Dioramas (all scales)
Ships, Space, or Other (all scales)
Youth (all types, all scales)
Cars Competition (includes NASCAR and racing all scales)
Cars Custom (includes Rod and Classic cars all scales)
Cars Other (includes trucks and motorcyles all scales)
We will award frist, second, and third places in all categories and all youth entrants will at least recieve a participation award. Judging in each categiry is by popular vote by all that have models entered into the show.
In addition we will have some specific awards for Small scale armor, WW I subject, AAA armor, and maybe more! We are also anticipating a special Corvette anniversary award to the best Corvette at the show.
VENDORS! We have vendor space on site this year. Please, PLEASE, let us know you are coming and your needs for space! There is no charge for vendor space but we would appreciate donations to our model raffle. Last year we had Roll Models and hope to see them at our contest again this year. (Come on DOWN John!)
