An Old Train Car: A lovely short story I think about hard times and being homeless long ago. With necessity being the mother of invention, one woman turns an old train car into a cozy home. Her brother turns what his sister has accomplished into a way of living. This story was inspired by a book I read as a child titled "The Boxcar Children." Hope you'll read & enjoy!
The Grapefruit Story:A simple memory of a chilled morning and a special treat at my grandmother's breakfast table. It never ceases to amaze me how the little things in life like a grapefruit can remind of a time, a place and a someone ever do dear. If you've ever had childhood memories come to mind, please join this story which is a recollection of more than just a grapefruit.
