Lucy Lawless having appeared on three episodes of Hercules was offered the part of Xena, Warrior Princess when an American actress turned down the role, not wanting to film a pilot in the land of down under. The show called Xena, Warrior Princess once reached the high honor of being the highest rated syndicated show on television. What Lucy did with the character Xena, and the chemistry of acting with her companion and soulmate Gabrielle played by Renee O'Connor can only be described as magical and FaNTasTic !
