I Know Why... Books written from the heart
PERSONAL NOTE:
I have not dropped of the edge of the world. For those of you that don't know, my husband died (VERY unexpectedly) Nov. 16th 2007 leaving me in a world of hurt in so many ways. I have tried several times to make my way back to this project, but every time, I'm dragged back down to the pain and problems of the situation.
PLEASE don't give up on my and the project. Life is getting easier. I'm so glad for that, but the Holidays with a nine year old, that really misses his dad, is very hard.
I have expanded the due dates for the stories and will try my best to keep up with them as they arrive.
For those of you that believe, please pray for peace and harmony in my and my son's life.

This anthology highlights real stories from real people who live in a real world. They tell what goes on behind closed doors, within a broken heart and in the passion of all beings. What makes this series different from all the others? The writer�s don�t gloss over the reality of the situation. There may not be a happy conclusion, God may not be a defining factor and there are no rules as to who may cry. This series tells about all the things we know happen but were afraid to speak about, until now�
Note: I Know Why the Fat Girl Cries is currently FINISHED and continues to seek a publisher or agent. It appears that this book scares a lot of people. Isn't it amazing?

Tells about our four-legged and feathered two-legged sons and daughters. Did you find your friend in a mind boggling way? Did his death take you breath away? Did your elderly dog and your handicapped child form a bond beyond all that you had ever seen? Let me hear your stories. Make me cry. Touch my heart. I think we�ve all had that special pet, tell me about it.

I Know Why the Fat Boy Cries
A book about �tubby� and �Lardo� and the pain behind the pounds of weight that man are carrying. The book tells of the little boys and their pasts. It explains about the haunts and the haunted. This book is for the reader who�s going to marry one of these men and for all the people who love these hulking males. There�s a lot more to love that whan we see on the outside.

Submission Specifics:
I prefer that all submissions be sent via the email as either an attachment or in the body of the message.
Please make sure your name is attached to the story along with all contact info.
Stories must be non-fiction, ranging in length between 500-2000 words.
Compensation:
We will pay a $50 (or more) honorarium upon publication along with one copy of the book. Your by-line and short (50 word) bio will be included in the book. Send complete manuscript with full contact information-no query letter needed. I may only respond only if your story is selected for submission. I accept simultaneous submissions and reprints (tell when/where appeared.) I prefer electronic submissions with an MS Word attachment. However, the story can be submitted in the body of your email should you not have MS Word. Multiple submissions are perfectly acceptable.

Rights: One time non-exclusive rights. Reprint rights. I reserve full editorial rights, including possible title changes. You will be sent a Permissions Form (contract) in the event your story is chosen for publication. This form must be signed and returned promptly.
No returns - if your story is not selected, your story will not be returned - always keep a copy for your files.
This is a heart book that talks from the soul of the individual.
