The Minnesota Timberwolves played the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night and won 95-93. The Minnesota Timberwolves now have a record of (42-26) and are currently ranked 5th in the Western Conference 7 1/2 games behind the Sacramento Kings. The Timberwolves' next game is on Saturday at 8:00 ET against the Portland Trailblazers. Portland has a record of (41-26) and are currently ranked 6th in the Western Conference, a half a game behind Minnesota. Although Portland has Pippen and Wallace, you can expect to see Wally, KG, Pack Attack, Joe, Rasho, Chauncey, Felipe, and Sam I Am run right over Portland and increase the Timberwolves win sreak to 3 games. Also expect to see Robert Pack's contract to switch from 10-days to permanent this week after leading the Timberwolves to a much needed 32-point victory last Tuesday against Toronto to break their 7-game losing hiatus.
