Launched March 1997 as "The Hospital Security Officer".

The web site was launched due to no "One Stop Index" of healthcare safety / security existing at the time. One can now visit the site to find other department web sites to do comparative studies,benchmarking and to do networking.
Site lost by AOL two years later in 1999 and the work started from scratch to build a new site.
Site links / info researched , reconstructed and site went live again two months later on Webspawner.com
Launched again as "Hospital Security Departments on the WWW" and a few years later changed to "Hospital Security and Police Departments" on the WWW
Site has been written about in a couple periodicals.
A total of 162 other web sites link to my site according to LinkPopularity .com

New visitor counter to the web site started on December 28,2005. Prior to that date, there were apprx. 26,300 visitors to the site between 1999 and 2005.
Site went to "Enhanced version" in December of 2005. I now pay a monthly fee to maintain the site.
APRIL 2008 - NAME OF SITE CHANGED TO "Hospital Security/Public Safety/Police on the WWW" TO REFLECT A BETTER REPRESENTATION OF THE DEPARTMENTS LISTED HERE.
