Hunter's Tree of Hope Foundation
HUNTER'S TREE OF HOPE FOUNDATION a Non-Profit Organization, was established in March 2004, for children with Biliary Atresia and various liver diseases, to help meet the needs of their emotional, educational and financial burdens.
The foundation was named after Hunter Chambers a child who was born with Biliary Atresia and has the Hope of someday finding a cause and cure for the disease so that all children born with Biliary Atresia can live life to the fullest. It is the foundations hope to help fulfill Hunter's dream by doing all we can for the children.
Hunter is currently awaiting a liver transplant,

HOORAY!! HUNTER IS HOME! He has been at Stanford LPCH for the last 2 months because of internal bleeding. He is on IV medications currently that are controlling the bleeding. Mom is his home nurse and school teacher. Hunter says, "I am just happy to be home with my dog and family..in my own room!"
Hunter will be having weekly Doctor visits and home health care.
He will be going back to Stanford in a couple of weeks for some more test that will help the Doctors in deciding the best course of treatment for Hunter.
HUNTERS ROOM WAS FILLED WITH BALLOONS, FLOWERS, GIFTS AND CARDS FROM HIS FAMILY, FRIENDS AND LOCAL SCHOOL. THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS AND ENCOURAGEMENT!

Future events and fundraisers are being planned so keep posted to the webpage. Hunter has a goal to raise funds to help researches find the cause of Biliary Atresia. We have no doubt that great things are to come for children who battle this disease..and that there is HOPE!
