HUNNEWELL VALLEY - RT 16 - EMBDEN, MAINE 04958
One of the first snowmobile races in America was held in the early 1960's on the big field in Hunnewell Valley. Then snowmobiles did about 25 to 30 miles an hour.
Things have changed and again Hunnewell Valley is entering the snowmobile racing scene with the NORTHEAST SNOWMOBILE JAMBOREE FEB 4, 2001
Like the long history of the 16th Annual New England 4x4 Jamboree (held every 4th of July weekend) in Hunnewell Valley, Hunnewell does for snowmobile what they have always done for trucks, that is to conduct an event that anyone can enter and do just about anything.
JAMBOREE means everything for everybody and the Snowmobile Jamboree does everything - Radar Runs, Drag Races, Sno-Cross, Long Jumping Contest, Kids racing and who knows maybe something new for 2001.
Watch our site here and we will change pictures from time to time so you can better understand why it is "Where Friends and Family Meet".
