Hometown Paintball Supply, Inc. was founded in Fordsville KY. December 1997. Since the early days of our company, our goal has been to offer the best possible pricing on the best products in paintball.

Due to rapid growth, in December 2000, we relocated our retail location to Beaver Dam, KY. so we could better service our customers. We helped the Ohio County Park/Fairgrounds open a free public playing field for which we helped oversee & run. At that time, the retail store was known as HPS Performance, a name carried over from our custom gun modifications of that time. From December 2000 to late 2003, the HPS Performance name was known all over the internet because of the ultra high performance upgrades we were doing with the Tippmann 98 & 98 Customs. During that time, we were the first to develope a true vertical feed modification for the Tippmann & a side feed Warp modification. From response to fully electropnuematic these markers were truly ahead of their time, winning countless tournaments & season championships against higher-end tournament guns of the time. Even Tippmann's major factory team Tippmann Effect, contacted us about shooting the HPS Performance vertical feed 98's. The vertical feed Tippmanns evolved through four different designs before being fazed out in late 2003 due to prices of higher end electropneumatic markers coming down in price. With this acheivment, we are proud to be a part of paintballs history.

In 2004, the Ohio County Park/Fairgrounds closed the playing fields due to insurance restrictions. When this happened, we decided to open our own playing field. In July 2004, HPS relocated to our now current field location at 275 El Retiro LN. in Beaver Dam, giving people a place to play along with rental equipment, Co2, air, paint, & gun tech on site.

August 2005 saw the launch of our online superstore hpspaintbll.com & in 2006 we opened our Owensboro retail location inside the Coolecter's Mall to give players more access to our low pricing structure that we have always been known for.

The year 2008 saw a very rapid growth at HPS. In early April we reopened our field with new up-grades. We added a tournament quality compressor system & we are always continuously improving. HPS field is the only field in the Ohio & Daviess County area that meets or exceeds all insurance requirments with over 8 years of field running experience(Minimum 3 years required), certified reffing, certified gun tech, & regulated air systems. This year also saw the return of Karnage Paintballs. We played a big part in the development of this extremly high quality paintball that combines a patented shell formula, with legendary technology.

This year, (2011) we are doing a complete restructure, going back to our roots. With the growth & popularity of our field, our Owensboro store location has been moved to our new remodeled Pro-Shop at our Beaver Dam field location, giving players a truely one stop shop. Also we will be bringing back the HPS Performance customizing that we were known for. Since January 1st. we have already built some really cool customized markers that can be seen at our Pro-Shop. We will also be bringing back our famous vertical feed mod for the Tippmann.

Today HPS,Inc/HPS Paintball still strives to be the best, not only at being the Tri-State's low price leader, but also of our knowledge of the paintball industry.
