HI,

Well! there are many ways of staying cooool. Either u go to South or North pole or u can have various kinds of hairstyles.
Love That Hat?
If you find a baseball cap or hat of any kind has suddenly become your trademark, it's time to get to a salon. The single best thing you can do to immediately improve the look and condition of your hair is a good precision hair cut
Just moved to a new location or city or maybe just looking for a new stylist?
The very best way to find a skilled new stylist is to stop people whose hair you admire, (great cut and superb condition and even better if their hair has a similar natural texture as your own), and ask them where they get their hair done. Time and time again we have new clients that say they had to come and check us out because the last five people they stopped came to us. And we have always found without exception, that people are happy to refer you when asked to their salon.
Always communicate clearly with your stylist, letting them know your exact wishes and the goals you wish to achieve for your hair. This way you will not end up with a cut or colour that you're unhappy with. Ensuring a flow of constant clear communication will in turn allow your stylist to please you, and not disappoint you, and maybe losing you as their client.
Split ends cannot be repaired by treatments or conditioners
Period. Just as when you tear a fingernail, it has to be trimmed before the tear continues to worsen, you cannot repair it. The same goes for your hair. If you have split ends you must trim them before they continue down the hair shaft making your hair in a much worse state.
Wide Is Best
Always style your hair using a wide toothed comb. The teeth should be rounded on the ends to avoid scratching the scalp and without any seams from manufacturing which can snag on your hair.
Curl Hot
When using a curling iron always use one that has a temperature control; that way it cannot become too hot. Leave your hair very slightly dampened before curling and styling. We recommend always using a thermal styling spray before curling for added protection against the heat. And never use a curling iron on dirty hair.
If you want a longer hold for your style when using a curling iron, try spraying the hair before you iron with a thermal styling spray.
To increase the texture on thick or wavy hair, long layers will boost up the wave and curl.
Brush Basics
Be careful when brushing hair that is relaxed, colour treated or permed because of its weaker condition. When your hair is growing out, it is weakest where the processed hair meets the new growth, and improper brushing may snap the strands at this point.
Gel Right
Liquid hair styling tools such as mousse, hair sprays or gels when used at the base of your hair near the scalp add lift and volume to your hair. When they are used at the ends they add weight.
Sleep Basics
Since most people toss and turn while they sleep you should never go to bed with your hair in rollers or pony tails. This tossing and turning during sleep with rollers or pony tails, may cause the hair to pull and break.
If you find your hair tends to tangle or mat at night when you sleep, try using a satin pillowcase to sleep on.
Tieback Tribulations
Really try to refrain from puffing your hair into ponytails. We find they tend to put too much stress on the hair, and the bands (elastics are the very worse) cause breakage when putting them in and taking them out.
Ageing Long
When you get over 35 years of age your face will be affected by gravity and the natural aging process. It's a gradual thing, but after a certain age longer styles will start to make you appear older rather than youthful. We recommend that you try keeping your hair in shorter styles, which generally speaking are more attractive on mature women.
Talk About It
If you do end up with a cut or colour you are dissatisfied with, call the salon and let them know. True professionals will always welcome feedback from their clients both positive and negative. A reputable salon will do all it can within reason to satisfy an unhappy client. But please call right away to allow them to see the problem when it is still fresh.
If Women Can Wear Pants Why Can't Men Wear Jewellery?
IT COMES down to a simple question: "If women can wear pants why can't men wear jewellery?" asks 18 year old Siddharth. Indeed the male of the species - Indian or otherwise - has long been reeling from the female assault on his wardrobe. Siddharth himself wears thick silver earrings in both ears, a thick silver bracelet and a macramé hemp choker with a single bead strung through it.
The word jewellery has always been associated with women, never mind that men also took great pleasure in decorating themselves with ornaments. Men of all classes wear ornaments, ranging from the simple black thread with a small pendant to the thick gold chains.
Many forms of jewellery are more a social indicator proclaiming a person's community affiliation and social status. Says Image consultant Anna Singh, who has several male film stars amongst her clients, "Men today have a better awareness of everything including jewellery. There is a certain class of men who think that their financial status can be judged by the jewellery they and their woman wears. Jewellery has a strong expression where power and status is concerned." Singh's own client, Jackie Shroff, is well known for being able to carry off classily any bauble he chooses to wear. Unlike, of course, Daler Mehendi or Bappi Lahiri.
Hermit Sethi, a 22 year old computer graphics designer who designs bead (glass and textured plastic, left) and thread jewellery in his spare time for mainly college students feels that jewellery should be worn as an adornment, not for any actual value. Going by his highly lucrative sales, obviously many young people agree with him. Hermit chanced upon this idea in Goa when he saw some Tibetans on Baga Beach stringing these beads and selling them to the tourists. He bought dozens of beads, strung them together creatively and sold them off to his friends. Hermit has created bracelets, rings, anklets and neckpieces. He has also stitched his beads on a girl friend's T-shirt!
What's In
Amongst young collegians, a stud in the ear (a simple diamond set in gold) or a silver bali earring (if that's what they can afford) has become trendy. Silver being far more reasonably priced than gold, most young people opt for this metal. Leather belts with fancy studs or buckles, a black thread with a locket or bead, silver or bead anklets, matching bracelets with chains are all catching the fancy of young students.
Back To The Vedas
The importance of jewellery in Indian culture has undercurrents of religious literature. The Rig Veda describes jewels as having divine attributes. Vishnu worships sapphires, Indra worships rubies and Agni, the fire god, diamonds.
During the Moghul period, Delhi set the fashion in India. Artisans came from all over the world to satisfy the tastes of the princes. Some of the royal princes of India even today have a priceless collection of rare and precious stones set in exquisite designs. These are taken out and worn only on ceremonial occasions.
Contemporary men today do not wear the elaborate jewellery their ancestors did, neither do they want to decorate themselves with artificial costume jewellery like their tribal counterparts.
In The Stores
In the mid-90s, Beautiful Jewellers introduced India to Tiffany's, which included an entire range of white gold and white gold jewellery for men. An unmitigated success there were plenty who jumped on to the bandwagon and today Cartier, Boucheron, Rado and many others are hawking their wares to the Indian man.
Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri of Zaveri Bazar was one of the first jewellers of Bombay to understand that the Indian man was looking for something trendy and wearable. They created an exclusive men's line in '97-'98 which caters to the discerning man.
Raj, one of the few men in their 40s who openly admits to a passion for designing & wearing unusual pieces of jewellery, feels that jewellery enhances his personality. "One should wear what one feels comfortable in and not because one is trying to make any sort of statement." He goes through phases when he wears chains, bracelets and rings at the same time, and then simply locks them all away for long periods.
Part Of The TBZ RangeCuff links, tie-pins, men's watches, key chains, belt buckles, kurta buttons, even gold frames for spectacles, matching bracelets and chains. All these items are handcrafted in 14-22 carat gold. Some pieces may be set with stones. Diamonds are the most popular. Other precious and semi-precious stones such as coral, topaz, cat's eye, rubies, emeralds and pearls are set commonly in rings and worn more for religious reasons rather than for decoration and investment.
Chains may be thin with lockets of the family deity. Chunky Italian style machine made chains with matching bracelets have been quite popular with the Indian male for many years and so far shows no sign of abating. Many men wear copper bracelets for health reasons.
Although more and more men are becoming conscious of their appearance and style, Indian designers still design predominantly for women. Men in one field at least are still a far second ...for the time being. Unless you count Dollar Mendy and his jewelled turbans. Now that really takes the cake.
