HOUSE OF GRIND SOUND STUDIO
The history of "HOUSE OF GRIND STUDIO" begins many years ago. In fact it goes back to 1989 when I started having a closer relationship with music. I remember myself then, at the age of 11, trying to play and record music (I had much success on the second part!). I used back then some tape recorders and my fatherīs PHILIPS round-tape-machine (a machine from the 60īs). Much later I used a PHILIPS cd player/recorder (1999-2000).
I forgot to mention that in 1995 I and George Anastopoulos formed "DARK SUN", later renamed in "INDULGE IN REVERIE" (The name was given from Dimitris Vagiannis). At the same time I formed my first "me-myself-and-I" band "GRIM LUXURIA".
The cd-r period didnīt last long for me as in the year 2001 I got a personal computer and started experimenting in the "CUBASE" demo version. But not for long, since I accidentally found out "CAKEWALK" which seemed to be much easier. This is the period when "HOUSE OF GRIND STUDIO" was born. Nevertheless, I still hadnīt named my studio! Up to 2002 my personal studio worked mostly as a place where I could record ideas and rehearsals and hardly ever for a proper recording session.
It was around May 2002 when the first proper recording session in "HOUSE OF GRIND STUDIO" took place with the PUTREFIED GENITALIA "Inhuman Hunger" promo 2002. It was the time just before "GARDEN OF GODS" split when I and Kostas K. decided in a flash to form PUTREFIED GENITALIA.
This was just the beginning...

P.S.2: The "HOUSE OF GRIND STUDIO" name was given from Kostas K. during the recording sessions for PUTREFIED GENITALIAīs "Forced Self Castration" mcd.
