RIP Shekinah Glory Davisson
Shekinah was my little sister, she was only 13 years old when she passed away, Sep. 17 2008. 1994-2008
Shekinah loved going to school, playing softball, hanging with her friends, going to the mall, going to the movies, she loved staying straight with the new fashion trends that come out. My mom, Shekinah and I would always asked each others opinions when trying on something new to make sure that it looked good. We are going to miss her opinions, and I am going to miss her helping me stay in touch with the new fashion trends.
I loved and still love my sister. Shekinah and I didn't always get along but thats how sisters are. My name is Jenifer, I am 18 and I am her older sister. I love to paint, sing, play sports, etc. I have an older brother in College his name is Chris, he loves playing baseball and is playing baseball at Emanuel Christian College, he also just loves being with his friends and family. I have a younger brother named Josiah; like King Josiah in the bible. He loves to skateboard and hang with his friends and family. I love my family, especially my parents Joel and Kathy Davisson, whom are marriage ministers that wrote 2 books. The books are called "The Man of Her Dreams, The Woman of His" and the 2nd book is called "Livin' It and Lovin' It". They have saved Thousands of marriages just through their books alone. They also run marriage seminars and Intensives for hurting couples. The Devil tried to pull us away from God but we are going full force now more than ever. My parents will be going full force in their marriage ministry and never taking a step back and neither am I. The Devil has tried to pull me away from God and has succeeded a little, I have made some bad mistakes but that ain't happenin' anymore. I am going full force with God. I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I ain't goin back. I am moving forword with my walk with God. We are going to miss Shekinah so very much, we still can't believe this happened. Shekinah had been dealing with stomach problems since Apil 7th, 2008 and had been in and out of the hospital all summer long and it continued even after school started. She and my mom went to the hospital on Sep. 17th just to get a simple little procedure done that Shekinah had already gotten done numerous times. But this time it was done differently and a small air bubble got in the tube which shot straight up to her lungs and heart. Shekinah looked up at my mom and said "I can't breath." My mom looked down at her and said "It's ok, I am right here with you. I love you, baby." and Shekinah's eyes closed quickly. They worked on her heart for over 2 hours but couldn't get her heart to start back up. We all love you Shekinah and we will miss you. We all hope and know that you are happy up there in heaven but we just wish you didn't go so soon. It wasn't your time to go, you haven't completed your purpose here on this earth yet, but we are all happy that you are in Heaven and having the time of your life. We will never forget you!!!
