HOPTON HOLIDAY VILLAGE - BRITISH HOLIDAYS
Hopton Holiday Village is situated just off of the main A12 in the village of Hopton, Norfolk, 6 miles South of the seaside town of Great Yarmouth and 4 miles North of the fishing town of Lowestoft. There is direct access to sandy beaches and the park has activities to suit all ages.
Hopton Holiday Village is a British Holidays site, part of the Bourne Leisure Group who also own Haven, Warner and Butlins.
KIDS & TEENS CLUBS
Bradley Bear and Rory the Tiger are the mascots for the childrens clubs, and make appearances during the day and in their own nightly show. There is also opportunities for photographs with them, taken by John and his team from Phototech, the official Park Photographers. For 12 to 16+ there is the T-co club, that runs throughout all 40 Haven and British Holiday Parks, and was devised in 2001 by Ben-Jammin, the resident assistant entertainments manager at Hopton Holiday Village.
SPORTS
New for 2003 is a 9 hole, par three golf course, set among a brand new caravan development at the top of the site. This complements the existing sports facilities that include heated indoor and outdoor pools, multi sports courts, professional football academy's, tennis courts, crazy golf, putting green and bowling green.
FUNWORKS COMPLEX
In the main 'Funworks Complex' you will find the 'Aquabar', with satalite television, late night weekend karaoke, an outdoor terrace and views over the indoor and outdoor pools. The 'Showbar' with nightly live entertainment, shows, visiting cabarets, childrens entertainment and disco. A large arcade with the most up to date gaming and video machines complements the Funworks Complex.
SHOWS & CABARETS
Visiting cabarets provide a large amount of the evening entertainment, and include magicians, singers, dancers, bands and comediens, and include top names such as 'Bucks Fizz' and 'The Four Tops'. Other entertainment is provided by the resident entertainments team, in the form of their team star shows, 'Funstars in your eyes', 'Chartbusters' and 'Funtime Express'
