Though the WHA only lasted from 1972 to 1979 the league has continued it's popularity among video collectors. With great players Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Gerry Cheevers and others leading the way the WHA managed to last 7 seasons. Below you'll find all I have from the WHA, if you have anything at all that I don't have don't hesitate to email so we can work out a trade.

1977 WHA All-Star Game from Hartford - This is the only WHA game available on video. Featuring two of the greatest players of all time both Gordie Howe and Bobby Hull. This is a must for any WHA fan. Good quality throughout.

1977-78 Regular Season 3/9/78 - New England Whalers vs. Houston Aeros - Morris Lukowich scores a pair of goals for the Aeros leading them to a 6 to 4 victory spoiling Gordie Howes’ return to the Summit in Houston. This is a great WHA rare complete game featuring future and former Nhlers including Terry Ruskowski, John Tonelli, Dave Keon, Mark Howe and two of the “Hanson” brothers from the movie Slapshot.

1978 Playoffs Game 5 4/23/78 - Quebec Nordiques vs. Houston Aeros - This is one of a few rare complete WHA games available. Down 3 games to 1 the Aeros put forth a great effort dominating the Nordiques throughout. Number 1 star of the game Ted Taylor scores a pair of goals leading the Aeros to a 5 to 2 victory. This is a must for WHA fans!

1977 AVCO Cup Finals, Game 7 - Quebec Nordiques vs. Winnipeg Jets - After 6 phenominal games that included great goaltending, high scoring games and awesome checking you'd have figured game 7 to be a gem. It wasn't as the

1979 AVCO Cup Finals, Game 6 - Winnipeg Jets vs. Edmonton OIlers - WOW!! The final game ever played in the WHA is a dandy!. Featuring 17 year old Wayne Gretzky in a complete game in the WHA. Many future NHLers can be found playing in this game. The young and inexperienced Oilers don’t have enough to defeat Winnipeg on their home ice. Featuring excellent post game coverage this is a must for fans of the WHA. The late Bill “Cowboy” Flett scores a great goal with a blistering slapshot from the blueline. Good quality throughout.

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 1 from Quebec
What a great game!, the Soviets take a lead into the third period behind a great effort from players Tretiak and Kharlamov. Despite the lead Team Canada never quits and futute Hall Of Famer Bobby Hull scores his second goal of the game tying it at 5. This is a must for vintage hockey fans and WHA fans! Very good quality this CBC broadcast is complete.

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 2 from Toronto

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 3 from Winnipeg
The Soviets behind young superstar Valerie Kharlamov and an excellent goaltending performance from Vladisev Tretiak explode for 8 goals defeating Team Canada with ease and evening the series at one win apiece with one tie. This CBC broadcast is very good quality and is complete.

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 4 from Vancouver
This is my favorite game of the series. Future HallOf Famers Bubby Hull and Gordie Howe show the Soviets how it’s done by the best. Bobby Hull scores a hat trick and Gordie Howes goes almost coast to coast to put one in the penthouse in this 5 to 5 tie. This is a must for any hockey fan! See two of the greatest players ever to lace up the skates play one of their best games. This CBC broadcast is very good quality and complete.

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 5 from USSR
Another spectacular performance from Vladisev Tretiak and a great defensive effort from the Soviets keeps Team canada to only two goals and a loss in game five 3 to 2. This CBC broadcast is missing the first 33:52 and has some minor transmission problems due to Soviet TV. This broadcast is very good quality.

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 6 from USSR
Team Canada looks tired and the Soviets dominate game 6. Tretiak again comes up with another great performance but he’s not really the reason for the win. The Soviets dominate in all facets of the game from face-offs to defense and handle the Canadiens with ease in this 5 to 2 victory and a 3 games to 1 edge in victories in this 8 game series.

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 7 from USSR
Down three wins to one Team Canada would need games seven and eight just to get out of this series with a tie. The effort is there in game seven but the Soviets could smell blood and despite a great effort by Team canada this game ends in a tie securing the Soviets first win in international play over Team Canada. This CBC broadcast is complete, due to Soviet TV there are some transmission problems.

1974 WHA (Team Canada) vs. USSR - Game 8 from USSR
Not much to say other than WOW! The Soviets once again behind a fantastic effort from Tretiak and great team defense win another close game 3 to 2. The Soviets win this 8 game series with 4 wins 1 loss and 3 ties.
