Different but equal: for a changing world!
The implementation of the SC project in the Balkans region gave us the possibility to know better our selves and the others; their culture and values that their communities have and especially the respective schools within the cluster on educating a new generation.
Besides the material investment, the project implementation enhanced the team spirit on working with interactive methodologies and making joint plans for future research and work. As a group we focused on project implementation keeping in mind the quality of the work and the deadlines.
Each of us had a role to play within its cluster and even more within the project as a whole. During fulfilling the tasks we were protagonists, initiators, partner, group leaders etc… Tolerance and collaboration were characteristics of the working group as part of a new communication on line.
The friendships initiated in between students and teachers, not only as part of the same country, but seen as part of the same project implemented throughout Balkans and US, were the fundamentals of making this project successful.
Ohrid conference showed to be a perfect demonstration of all I mention above!
The ICT used during the project implementation showed to be very effective, besides some objective obstacles like Internet connection very slow and not effective some time, electricity problems, viruses, network maintenance etc..
Being a teacher I would suggest to this project to bring more motivation to students. I am also hopping that the new phase that this project is entering will be more interesting and more fruitful in term of collaboration and twinning with other schools in the project.
I also thing that this project was successful because of the perfect coordination of all actors: School-Local education directory-CRS
