Our 40th Class Reunion was a H U G E success!! There were about 175 people in attendance, socializing, eating and dancing the night away to old school music provided by DJWebb. There were dozens of prizes given away and THANKS to classmate Adrienne Thorton, those prizes included two tickets to anywhere Delta Airlines flies within the USA. The mother of El Presidente, Mrs. Dorothy Wilder, presented all classmates in attendance with a book containing many of the stories written my El Presidente in his Daily Digest!! We experienced live entertainment provided by saxaphonist extraordinaire, Ronald Adwaters and his keyboardist, singers, Gary Askew, Sylvia Dennis-Lott and the son of Vita Blount Maddox, Ron Maddox. There was fun, laughter, music and love all over the place!

Your Reunion Committee will be taking a short hiatus, but be sure to check this site from time to time as we will be adding videos & pictures of various happenings and updates as well as announcing plans for future events in a few months. Dwight's brother Alvin Miles passed away a few days later; Donald & Mimi Moore (Mimi's mother is in a hospice facility); Marv Jackson, husband of Gaytra as he recovers from a very serious eye injury; Ms. Blanche Wallace, mother in law of Vincent (wife, Holly) Cook; Rufus & Jeanne Jordan-Glover (the passing of Jeanne's Father in law, Mr. Charlie Glover); Thelma Gooch (passing of her brother, Walter Gooch); Archie Mann (passing of his Mother, Mrs. M. Bray); Gerald Allen (surgery); Claudette Williams & family; Betty Stallings; Tereon Copeland (Daughter in Law of Anthony Sims); Vincent Lyons (Father, Mr. Aaron Lyons passed away on 11/24/10); Roderick Kennon (uncle is very ill); Beverly Bates family; The McConnells; William "Bill" Glass After battling cancer; Bill Jackson's wifeVicki Jackson passed away last November 2010.
