HIGGINS LAKE COTTAGE PATROL
HIGGINS LAKE COTTAGE PATROL, is a family owned property protection service. The owner and managed is a retired police officer of 25 years service and thoroughly trained in criminal investigations.
The Higgins Lake Cottage Patrol was established in 1949 by the present owners father.
AGENCY SERVICE
Our agency patrols cottages and homes 5 days during the week starting on the first day of November of each year and ending on the last day of April of the following year.
Our agency checks cottages and homes within the Higgins Lake area, giving the cottage or home owner a secure mind that while they are away for the winter months, their property is being checked for Breaking and Entering, Vandilisim, Furnace Failure, etc.
CHECKING FOR:
FURNACE FAILURE and calling homeowners furnace repair person, so to prevent freeze up.
BREAKING AND ENTERING, Contacting the Michigan State Police to assist in the investigations.
VANDILISIM
ASSISTANCE: To homeowner by unlocking doors when repair persons arrive.
TURN UP HEAT when requested by the homeowner.
EMERGENCY CALL OUT for burglary alarms.
When the homeowners furnace is found not working, the Cottage Patrol calls the homeowners furnace repair person or the quickest furnace repair persons who can arrive and service the furnace back to working order so to avoid water pipe freeze ups.
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to keep their driveway clear of snow so that both the Cottage Patrol and furnace repair persons can drive to the cottage or home. FURNACE REPAIR COMPANIES DO NOT ENTER UN-PLOWED DRIVEWAYS.
In the event the home is broken into or vandalized, the Michigan State Police is contacted to assist in the investigation. The homeowner is notified so they can contact their homeowners insurance agency.
COST
The service is at a very reasonable cost so that every cottage or homeowner can afford the service of the Higgins Lake Cottage Patrol.
Remember, this is a 6 month, winter service to help the property owner have a secure mind that their property is being watched when not attended by the property owner.
