Keith Ward will be featured February 23, as part of Poetry Thursdays from 7:00-9:00pm,
at the Susquehanna Art Museum, 301 Market Street in downtown Harrisburg.
Ward has been published in Tarnhelm, Shirazad.com, Steelpoint Quarterly, and Megaera.
Ward is co-host of the monthly Van Gogh’s Ear poetry readings at Open Stage in Harrisburg.
His first book of poetry, Hit Head On, published by Tiger Eyes Press, will be released in mid-February,
and Ward will present selections from the tome.

Keith Ward was born and raised in Harrisburg. A graduate of HACC and Penn State, he's an Employment Security Specialist at the PA Department of Labor and Industry, involved in planning, and administrative and program analysis. "Hit Head On" is his first book of poetry.
He has been featured at numerous venues in Central PA during the past year or so, including the Dauphin County Library, Borders Books and Music, Barnes & Noble, Susquehanna Art Museum, The Reader's Cafe, and Sparky & Clark's Roasting Co. and Coffee Bar. He also participated in the poetry recitations at York Gallery Walk and Yorkfest. Ward been writing verse for over 35 years.
Most of his writing has been poetry and songs, though he's written a wide variety of pieces, including short stories, descriptive pieces, and essays. He also does periodic journaling and is well-known for his lengthy letters/e-mails and is, by any reckoning, a prolific writer.
