Achiever Newsletter - SPRING 2005

From the Director's Desk by Joanne E. Juren

Dear Friends,

The plans for our new location are moving along. At this time we are done with the plans and are beginning the build out! We hope to move around May 1. I will keep you posted about our progress.

The summer schedule is now complete. You will find it at www.homeeducationpartnership.com. We have some fun and exciting camps open to all homeschoolers and our public/private school friends.

HEP of Texas is developing these ideas for Fall 2005-06:

--Classical School - A WORD IN SEASON will be our cornerstone course for the high school program. We will add Latin, Logic, early math. The Classical School eventually will cover elementary, middle school, and high school.

--HEP Academy where students attend 1/2 day classes Monday - Thursday and complete their English, History, Math, and Science using the Alpha Omega School-House Program. Then in the afternoon, students may sign up for electives such as art, music, karate, etc. HEP will provide all instruction, transcript grades, and counseling. Students may also work via remote computer from home instead of actually coming to the Learning Center.

The Fall Schedule is more than 1/2 complete. I hope to have it on the webpage by the end of April or 1st of May.

I am now accepting resumes for part time instructors for HEP of Texas. All instructors must have a college degree. I also need a facillator who will supervise several classrooms. No degree is required for this position as you will be the HEP of Texas administrative assistant. Please send resumes to:

I will keep you posted to our new offerings as soon as we make some decisions. Keep us in your prayers!

Sincerely,
Joanne Juren
