Broke Momma Needs Financial Assistance

Thanks for visiting my page.
I am a single mom with 1 child. I was working full time until my hours were reduced at work--not of my own choosing. Even when I was working full time, we were just existing from paycheck to paycheck. I am not sure what we will do now--since I will not even be clearing enough to cover the rent.
We had to move from our apartment in October, and the place that I was able to secure is alot more than I was paying at the apartment. I figured we could swing it, but I was not expecting to have my hours cut at work. I am in desperate need of financial assistance.
The deadbeat dad is out of the picture, and he owes me over $3500 in back child support. I have tried to contact him, but he does not respond to phone messages or mail. I have also been in touch with Domestic Relations, but they seem to be more father oriented than into helping the mother with making him pay what he owes. He has been very instrumental in recently having the support payments suspended because he is "unable to work at this time."
Anything that anyone can do to help us out of a desperate situation would be greatly appreciated. God will reward you!
