Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law
Way back in the hayday of HannaBarbera Studios, Birdman and his loyal aviarian sidekick, Avenger, were your typical Saturday morning cartoon superheroes. When the studios closed, Birdman went into the vaults, only to be taken out every now and then to be burned by Space Ghost. But now, he's been picked up, dusted off, and sent to law school to become Harvey Birdman: Attoney at Law, Cartoon Network's very first animated courtroom drama.
Every episode, Harvey and his assistant Avenger fight for another cartoon character's freedom and innocence by taking on the horrors of the court as attorneys. In upcoming episodes, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo are accused for drug possesion (I think we all know how this one'll turn out), and Yogi's little buddy Boo Boo is pushed over the edge, and becomes the UnaBooBoo, sending explosive-laden food packages to annoymous victims.

CAST OF CHARACTERS
HARVEY BIRDMAN
Former 60's superhero who, after a long absence, became an attorney. He now drives this really cool old Chevy, decorated with the same symbols that are on Birdman's mask. It seems that he is no longer associated with his former wife Sylvia, though...
AVENGER
Birdman's only friend and assistant, who just so happens to be a hawk. Instead of helping his owner defeat supervillains, Avenger now helps Birdman with his Palm Pilot, and acts sort of as a secretary.

PILOT/EPISODE GUIDE
1) STEALTH PILOT-"Race and Benton"
SYNOPSIS
Benton Quest comes to Harv's office, telling his that his "traveling companion", Race, wants possesion of his sons Johnny and Hadji Quest. Harvey takes the case, and they go to court, where Race acts strangely. During the trial, Race's attorney, Vulturo(who happens to be Birdman's arch-enemy) brings many classic Johnny Quest villains to the stand, including Bill the Lizard Man. They all say that Race was always paid more attention to the boys. On day two of the trial, Race continues to act odd. When called to witness, Birdman pulls a plug from an outlet, causing the lights to go out. He puts it back, and pulls another, causing Race to keel over, revealing a cord coming out of his back that leads to the plug Birdman pulled. It turns out that Dr. Zen, the Quests' enemy, constructed a robot of Race to win the possesion of Johnny and Hadji in order to kidnap them.
Back in Birdman's office, Johnny comes in with a videophone with the real Race on it. Race tells Benton that he left on vacation a few days ago. Happy, Benton pats Birdman on the arse and calls him Bandit, while the actual Bandit (Johnny and Hadji's pug dog) is carried out the window by Avenger.
