Be In My Business
My Name is Hameed, I am from Newcastle uponTyne, England. Since I was a child I loved nature. I lived on a farm in a beautiful part of the country, surrounded by many rivers and canals.
During the summer season it was sunny, warm and the perfect time for people to collect the produce and take it to the market. There were animals and various species of birds.
My childhood was rich with many colourful and wonderful memories. My family has always been important to me. My parents, brothers and sisters and especially my Grandfather, who was a remarkable and respected man in the community. He was caring and wise. This added to my soul and heart an everlasting love of the world around me, which I still carry to this day.
A caring person I have always been able to help others less fortunate than myself in my local community. I was involved, in a voluntary capacity, in several projects here and abroad. I have excellent communication skills, written, oral and using electronic communication. I am a University graduate with a BA degree in Economics.
My knowledge and business background has enabled me to establish a trading company with other partners; to build a link with various countries in the middle east, such as Gulf state, Egypt, North Africa and several European countries. I am interested in fair-trading organisations. I was involved with Traidcraft plc in Gateshead, Newcastle, in a voluntary capacity translating business information, letters etc.
Traidcraft, Oxfam and other fair-trading companies operate through out the world, supporting the producer in selling their produce for fair prices. As a gardener I link with various horticultural groups in the city.
My favourite hobbies and interests are: flower arranging, gardening, floral art, bee keeping, cooking, walking, photography, travelling, surfing the internet, listening to music, and caring for the environment. I always believe that God gave us many things in life to enjoy and to be thankful for those gifts.
My challenge for 2003 is to build a good professional website full of interest to share information to help others in their business and community ventures. Thank you for signing my guest book, I hope you found my website interesting.
