School is back in and is it ever starting up crazy. This year we are sending Lava Tubes to Oahu, to Radford High School. Where Div I Girls volleyball coach, Kahala Kabalis, shipped some over from the Big Island to help her girls raise some much needed funds. The first hundred sold in a week or two and she had some coca cola LHM left over but all in all it went well. We are looking forward to the explosive sales that occur when something 'NEW' hits the schools. I hope we are ready. I hear Kaiser High School was also interested.
Oahu Pop Warner is selling Lava Tubes. I heard that 500 sold before 11 A.M., should have sent a thousand, we could have doubled their earnings. What a missed opportunity. These things happen to Lava Tubes though. It's real funny. You set up the tent and sit around while people walk by looking and some read the menu we set up. Soon a couple of kids take a chance and buy one. They walk away tasting each others LT's and going mmmmmmmmm. That is what it's all about. Soon many, many kids are eating it and the adults start to muscle the kids pops away. Then all of a suidden the adults are lining up and walking away going mmmmmmmm. It's true.
Big Island Pop Warner is starting up. I told you it was going to be crazy.

Well, we have our own kitchen now. As opposed to Puna Community Congregational Church's kitchen. God Bless them, we love them very much. They are a part of our lives we will always cherish.

We have also had the opportunity to lease the old Wainaku General Store and now have a little Mom and Pops thingy going on there. Gotta go check it out. Mama Tubes cooks up a mean roast pork plate that 'brokes da mout'. Sadly, now we have to eat our own cooking at home. I hope we make it. I'm down to a skeletal 215, alright, bigfoot skeletal but skeletal just the same. Waaaaa waaaaaa.
