I have traced my "HARTLEY" family relatives back as far as their England, British Isles, heritage. The progenitor of my "HARTLEY" family in America is:
Hargraeves HARTLEY.
b: March 1773, at England.
m: Early 1800's, at England.
d: 31 January 1846, at Rochester, Monroe Co., N.Y.
Sp: Nancy BROOKS.
b: 1776-77, at England.
d: 31 August 1850, at Rochester, N.Y.
(Hargraeves & Nancy are buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Section 0, Rochester, Monroe Co., N.Y).
Their son:
James William HARTLEY.
b: 21 March 1805, at England.
m: 1842, at possibly Rochester, N.Y.
d: 29 May 1878, at Rochester, N.Y.
Sp: Edna DONKERSLEY.
b: 13 April 1818, at England.
d: 30 May 1887, at Rochester, Mondoe Co., N.Y.
(James & Edna are buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 46-R1).
Their daughter:
Sophia Donkersley HARTLEY(my g-Grandmother).
b: 19 Dec. 1849, at Rochester, Monroe Co., N.Y.
m: 23 December 1868, at Rochester, N.Y.
d: 6 March 1926, at Rochester, N.Y.
Sp: Albert Claude SCHUYLER. (my mat.-pat.-g-Grandfather).
b: 7 July 1842, at Rochester, N.Y.
d: 29 November 1921, at Rochester, N.Y.
(Sophia & Albert are buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 46-R1).
Their son:
Raymond Laverne SCHUYLER. (my mat. Grandfather).
b: 24 May 1884, at Rochester, Monroe Co., N.Y.
m: 22 May 1907, at Rochester, N.Y.
d: 11 August 1944, at Buffalo, Erie Co., N.Y.
#1 Sp: Lotta Pearl Gallup. (my mat. Grandmother).
b: 12 March 1884, at Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Mi.
