A New UltraLight Tractor Gyroplane

Update 9/20/2006

Yes it has been a long time since I did any work on the tractor gyro. Life took me in a new direction and the ultralight has to wait for me to accomplish my career goals. The gyro now resides in Vienna MO. along with my family and new home. Unfortunately I still live here in Ft. Lauderdale FL. I am helping create a new Orthopedic Implant company, and hope to set it free in a year or two. Until then my gyro will just have to wait patiently for me.
Here is one of the last pictures I took of her before storing her away in the trailer.

I started the tractor gyro design in 2003.
One of these days I will finish and fly it. I am using the Hirth F23 2 cylinder (opposed design) duel carb, duel ignition motor. It has a 45 horse rating. the frame is built from 2" sq. e-glass fiberglass tubing with 1/8" walls. The rest is pretty much std.

Thanks for checking out the site. one day it will fly! and so will the gyroplane !!
