Genesee Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever
Our mission statement is to improve pheasant populations via habitat restoration projects in the six county area surrounding Rochester, NY.
Our Next Meeting will be Tuesday, May 13th, 7-8:30pm, Avon Inn, Main St, Avon.
2008 GVPF Annual Banquet was Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at the Lodge on the Green, Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY. It was our most attended banquet to date. We want to thank all who supported our annual fundraiser and membership drive.
Our 2008 Youth Clay Target Shoot is scheduled for Saturday, 4/19, 9am-2pm at Honeoye Fish and Game Club. Its open to all youth 12-16 years old. If interested contact Kevin or Harold Below.
2008 Planting Season is about to start. Kevin went on 4/10 to pickup the food plot seed. You should be hearing from him shortly if you reserved seed.
8' Truax No Till Drill available for rent to plant warm and cool season grasses.
The chapter also purchased in 2008 a new ATV style spreader, disc, and fertilizer implements for Deer and Wildlife food plots. This is also available for rent.
