I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW WHY I WROTE THIS WEB PAGE. MY BEST FRIEND WAS A DRUG DEALER. HE WAS A BIG "MONEY MAKER" IN NEW JERSEY. WHEN MY FRIEND WAS YOUNG, HIS FATHER BEAT HIM AND HIS MOTHER PUT THE CHURCH BEFORE HIM. I COULD RELATE TO HIM. WHEN HE WAS A YOUNG TEENAGER HE WAS HI AND DRUNK DRIVER AND COMMITTED AN UNINTENTIONAL DEATH. THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY SHOWED HIM NO REAL MERCY. THE STATE SENT HIM TO RAHWAY PRISON. FOR A YOUNG, SKINNY BLACK (AFRICAN AMERICAN) TEENAGER SENT TO RAHWAY, HE WAS NOT COMING BACK THE SAME.
ANY WAY, I MET HIM IN 1996 OR 1997. I WATCHED HIM GET IN THE "DRUG GAME" AND BECOME "FAMOUS". HE WAS A LADY'S MAN. AT ONE POINT IN HIS LIFE, HE REALLY WAS "GOD". BUT THEN THINGS BEGAN TO CHANGE FOR HIM. HE LOST HIS JOB DUE TO A DRUG TEST. HE WASN'T ABLE TO MAKE THE MONEY HE HAD MADE SELLING DRUGS. THE COCAINE HAD TAKEN HIM OVER. HE BEGAN TALKING WRECKLESS AND DISRESPECTFUL. I DECIDED TO CUT MY FRIENDSHIP OFF WITH HIM BECAUSE HE WAS DOING THINGS THAT REQUIRED A RESPONSE. OUT OF LOVE FOR MY FRIEND AND RESPECT FOR ALL HE DID, I JUST FELL BACK.
I PREDICTED ON MY CABLEVISION PUBLIC ACCESS SHOW "HIP HOP REALITY" (GOD'S REALITY) THAT BECAUSE HE HAD BETRAYED HIS FRIEND AND CONTINUALLY SPOKE OUT AGAINST BLACK (AFRICAN AMERICAN) WOMEN AND OTHERS, THAT HE WAS NEARING HIS END. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE "ROCK" BEGAN TO SHATTER AND CRUMBLE. HE BECAME AN ADDICT, AND HE WAS NO LONGER STRONG AND IN CONTROL. HIS SEX LIFE LEAD TO AIDS, AND HIS INABILITY TO FIND A JOB LEAD TO HIM TAKING A JOB WHERE GREATLY AFFECTED HIS HEALTH. I SAW HIM ONE FINAL TIME BEFORE HE DIED ON HIS BIRTHDAY (SEPTEMBER 13, 2007). HE WAS STILL BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE FOR HIS OWN MISTAKES. HE DIED SOMEWHAT "BROKE" IN A MOTEL OR HOTEL ROOM. HE LEFT BEHIND THREE BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS OF VARIOUS AGES. I AM NOW AN ORDAINED MINISTOR. THIS IS REVEREND (PASTOR) GARY COLIN OF THE ASBURY PARK, NEPTUNE, NEW JERSEY (MONMOUTH AND OCEAN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY) AREA.

How Turning To God And Growing With God Will Help You Through The Problems, Trials, And Temptations Of Life (Repenting, Repentance)
The Bible informs us that Satan (negative energy) would keep Earth's humans deceived with "loving pleasure" (2 Timothy 3:1-5; Revelation 12:1-12; 2 Corinthians 4:4). Any energy that leads people away from God's approval is negative energy.
Progressing from inexperienced childhood and youth into maturity and adulthood is God's natural procession for humans.
Satan (negative energy) uses every opportunity to prevent this growth from occurring.
When a person reaches full manhood or womanhood (adulthood), they become the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Negative enery is designed to prevent a human from reaching full adulthood. Full adulthood is the duty of handling one's (responsibility) in this physical world while also pleasing God in Spiritual Growth.

This web page will use the Bible to point God-seekers in the right direction.
Planet Earth is a world filled with many ideas, opinions, and beliefs. This sometimes distracts and confuses people who are really seeking the Bible.
I've studied various Bibles and Religions over the last forty years. I'll use the Authorized King James Version (1611 AD) edition for this web page.
It's essential to know that God is Real. God has an unlimited number of messengers (angels and servants) to help people grow in Spirituality. Spirituality is the direct relationship between God and His creature(s). Spirituality is a growing experience.
It's also essential to note that all good and all bad (evil) comes from God (Isaiah 45:7; Job Chapter 1). The Bible is actually God's book to His Earthly creation. It is a mistake to read the Bible solely as a "do" or "don't" book. One must read the Bible asking: "what am I learning from all this information", "how does all this information tie in with other parts of the Bible", "what might God be saying in all the symbolisms, numerology, metaphors, allegories, and accounts".
The above paragraphs explain why there are so many different opinions, approaches, and beliefs to God. God has many messengers with gifts Who are all part of His Angelic Spirit (Psalm 104:4; Deuteronomy 4:24; John 4:24; 1 Corinthians 12:4).
One might conclude, "Well if it's all the same spirit, then it really doesn't matter what I believe".
There is some truth to the above statement. Yet, a person must follow the calling by which God calls them (1 Corinthians 12:8). God may choose to directly call a person. Moses was directly called by God (Exodus Chapter 3). In most cases, a person must follow the general path to Spirituality (growing with God).
Many others have their approaches to God. These have their own Spiritual Leaders and Holy Books. If God so calls a person in this way, then His Will Be Done.
The general path to Godly Growth (Spirituality) occurs in these steps:
1) Daily Bible Reading, Reflection, And Prayer: We live in a very fast paced, and ever changing world. Yet, we find time to do the things that we enjoy or the things we feel need to be addressed. We must personally Read the Bible as often per week as possible. There is no substitution to reading the Bible.
We might read one to three chapters per day. Try not to "jump around" the scriptures. Start with one Bible Book and complete up to 3 chapters per day. Then ask yourself what the "content" was about that you read. What did you learn about God, His personality, the people and the events in those chapters? Now go back, and attempt to learn the Biblical or symbolic meanings behind the Biblical words uses.
Yes, this is time consuming. Spiritual Growth with God is an ever-growing relationship. Some people, do something "spiritual", and then go off and enjoy life. This is the "man/woman" in the mirror effect. It is a form of self-righteousness that blocks Spiritual Growth with God.
You should also research Bible Teachers who have a good understanding of God's Methodology in Bible writing. These Teachers will help you advance your understanding and thus advance your Spiritual Growth.
A King James Bible Concordance and/or http://www.blueletterbible.org will help you Greatly in your Bible learning!
2) Pray Regularly to God: Humble, Sincere, Open, and Honest prayers to God are essential. God responds by answering your prayer, sending you "inclinations with answers", answering your prayer in a way that He sees best, or not answering your prayers. It's wise to keep a notebook or journal to examine how God responded to your prayers. If He did not answer a prayer after consistent approaches, you can write down the associated events. This step and asking God "why" may lead to your answers from God.
Personal Bible reading and Personal Prayer in the above way will greatly increase your Spirituality (relationship with God), and your emotional maturity. You might find that you also have more finances in your "hands", and that you don't "waste" as much time and resources on non-essentials.
3) Finally, God's Spirit should move you to become more optimistic. The "new" you might cause others to talk judgingly about you, or "berate" you. Joseph was attacked and betrayed by His own brothers (the book of Genesis). God's Spirit generally moves a person to acknowledge that he/she is sinful and in need of God's Help (Salvation-Messiah-Jesus Christ). God's Spirit also moves a person to reach out to others (especially in Spiritual matters).
God presently allows a sinful, often dark, and dysfunctional world on planet Earth. Thus it is essential that a spiritual person realize that God might not make everything better.
God sent Satan to attack Job, when Job was viewed as highly righteous (Job 1). Why would God instigate and allow such suffering? We as humans can never fully understand God. Yet, by reading the Book of Job, we see that Job prophetically pointed to Jesus Christ, who died, and was resurrected, to atone for (and remove) the penalty of death for our sins. The Biblical God usually has multiple reasons and meanings with all the things He does.
Moses witnessed a "burning" bush that was not consumed in the fire (Exodus Chapter 3). The burning fire symbolized God's Judgmental Anger (Deuteronomy 4:24). The bush symbolized God's people. God was telling Moses that if the people obeyed the Word that God gave to Moses, that they would not be consumed during God's Judgment (Matthew 25:30-44; Revelation 17:1, 16). In fact, those obedient people would become a Great Multitude in the fashion of Michael the Great Archangel (Exodus 15:3, 11; Read Exodus chapter 14; Revelation 1:10-15; Revelation Chapter 7).
You can see how many levels God operates on, all at the same time!
You will know when God is leading you. In fact, when you attempt to disobey God's will for you, and go in another direction (as Jonah did), He will affect your life, and possibly the lives of others around you, until you "turn to His will for you".
This can be hard to accept. Saul was a financially rich, highly educated and reputed scholar. God pulled Saul from that religious order, renamed him "Paul", gave him a ministry, and lowly "poor paying" jobs.
This is why God's way might not be for everyone. This is why people would rather claim to love God, but are far from Him (2 Timothy 3: 1-5). Most people want to have fun, no correction, pleasure, and large finances.
So your spiritual growth with God might not satisfy your fleshly, physical side. Yet, your spiritual side will gleam with glory in the Lord! The only way you will keep your Spiritual Side Gleaming In The Lord is to stay busy reading the Bible, spiritual information, studying, and praying.
And yes, God still requires you to maintain employment, pay your bills, obey the laws, and grow to be a responsible adult. This will not be easy. But if you follow the above steps, He will be with you. All the obstacles and problems you face will draw you deeper in allegiance to the Great God (John 4:24).
Most importantly, when you learn how to "hear" God's inclinations, let no other human attempt to direct you (1 John 2:27). God will show you the way to walk (Jeremiah 10:23; Exodus 14:9; Exodus 19:5-6, 9-11).
Your Godly focus will cause others (even religious people) to accuse you of being "hard headed" (stubborn). Be very careful. Those who refuse to heed God's Word will suffer. Much of this suffering is dysfunctional situations, anxiety, sicknesses, and sad fully deaths.
A Spiritual person's business is God. Gandhi was such. Jesus was such. Early Protestants who opposed Biblical error and control were such. These types are usually "hated", persecuted, opposed, and some times killed.
It is not always that dramatic. But you can expect some type of opposition from others as you Spiritually Grow with God.
So what's the Benefit of Spiritual Growth with God?
God becomes more than a Bible character. He becomes more than a "Heavenly Father". He actually becomes your Friend. You will sense Him actually caring about the things in your life.
