FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

*WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU USUALLY PLAY?
One of our biggest compliments from guests has alway regarded the variety of our music selection. We play everything from big band to oldies, current music, and everything else in between. EVERYONE will be up dancing.

*IS COCKTAIL MUSIC INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE?
Yes.

*WHAT WILL THE DJ LOOK LIKE WHEN HE SHOWS UP?
DJ Ian Tully always comes formally dressed with black dress pants, tuxedo jacket, black vest, and a black bow tie.

*DOES THE SIX-HOUR PACKAGE PRICE INCLUDE SET-UP TIME?
The package price strictly covers the time that music is being played. We do not "start the clock" until the cocktail music begins.

*CAN YOU PLAY LONGER THAN SIX HOURS IF WE WANT YOU TO?
Yes. Each additional hour over six hours is $50 per-hour.

*DO YOU DO WEDDING CEREMONY MUSIC IN ADDITION TO RECEPTION MUSIC?
Absolutely! Extra fees depend on the time and location of the ceremony in relation to the reception.

*IS THERE A WAY I COULD MEET WITH THE DJ BEFORE I ENGAGE IN A CONTRACT?
Yes, but it is not really necessary. All phone and email consultations are free, but we charge $100.00 for each in-person meeting with the DJ. Equipment demonstrations are also available, but we charge a fee of half the package price.

*WILL THE DJ BE ABLE TO MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE EVENING?
Absolutely! Not only can the DJ make announcements, but we always make up a schedule of events for each individual reception to ensure that everything flows smoothly. The DJ will act as the master of ceremonies for the evening.

*COULD I GET A LIST OF ALL THE SONGS YOU PLAY?
Thanks to internet-based technology, we literally have access to EVERY song there is. Upon the booking of our services, you will receive a questionnaire with which you can indicate to us what GENRES of music will most appeal to your guests. If you are having a hard time deciding what song you want for dances such as your first dance, Groom/Mother dance, and Bride/Father dance, we could provide you with a list of some of the most common songs we play for those particular dances. If there are a handful of "must play" songs that you and your partner wish to be played, you can indicate those to us as well.

*WILL THERE BE A WIRELESS MICROPHONE FOR SPEECHES AND TOASTS?
Absolutely! The DJ will always keep a wireless mic nearby for any announcements throughout the evening.

*WHAT FORMAT DO YOU USE TO PLAY YOUR MUSIC?
We use a combination of dual CD digital audio and laptop-based software. Crossfading is a very important feature, as there are no breaks between songs. Our equipment is cutting-edge, and is the absolute best that can be found.

*DO YOU NEED A TABLE TO SET UP ON?
Nope! Our system is entirely self-contained. The only thing you need to provide is a power outlet. We have one of the classiest set-ups in the business, complete with booth, floral arrangements, and a full light show.
