Waiting list & Explaination of Aquiring a Puppy...

We are EXPECTING PUPPIES ON MAY 20TH, 2004.. IF YOUR "WEIM READY" THEN PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH US ASAP. AS WE HAVE STARTED THE "WAITING LIST" AND HAVE DEPOSITS ALREADY PUT DOWN FOR THEIR NEW FAMILY ADDITIONS TO COME..
We always feed Momma all that it takes to obtain healthy, happy puppies,before she is even PG. She gets to eat two meals of the yummy Kelp and other excellant nutritious cereal based foods we always feed our momma dogs that are ready to be bred, along with fresh liver,salmon, and other poultries. In the last couple of weeks during their pregnancy they eat twice as much, and at the last week of their pregnancy, they eat three times as much food.
Thats why we feed a combination of milk and cereal, Kelp, and other goodies that are so wholesome for them before, during and after their pregnancy.Whole grains, meats, etc. supplement feeding to our females.The same combination we feed our puppies while weaning them from momma. As well as "Nutral"or "Esbilac" puppy formula while supplementing them.. Willow gets to suck on the bottle as well when we allow her to. Sometimes she tries to nibble on the nipple to get more milk faster! She loves to try whatever her babies are getting to eat.She isnt' spoiled is she?
We have Bred "CHLOE" AND "JOJO",Their temperments are excellant.As are all of our Weims here..They are all so social its unbeliveable, they are such lovers, and by no means fighters.. All of our dogs here get total socialization continously.
"Sunnie" Our other Sire, has the happiest disposition there can be in a Weim. "Chloe" is the daughter of "Sunnie"& "Willow". He constantly talks to us, moaning noises, and tries hard to get those words out ! If there was a "Tail wagging contest" he would definately win that without a doubt..His tail never stops wagging, with his happy disposition..
"Willow" has those natural instincts of a Momma. She too is quite the talker, she has this thing about the telephone when i am on it, she will start to bark to tell me my time is up, and it is time to spend with her..She also tries hard to talk, getting out the "mommma" noises that they make, i swear if they could talk, they would never shut up..They love to sit on the kitchen chairs or on the deck chairs just relaxing a bit. I came down one morning from getting dressed, and there sat an entire table full of Weimies waiting for Mom to make them breakfast, talk about funny, one sitting there with a coffee cup in front of him, and the others looking like "Wheres mine"? I will have to scan the picture i snapped of them sitting there at the table and put it up on here for everyone to witness.."Willow & Sunnie" are the Pair that Produced "O'rion", that heads alot of guided hunting tours in the lower part of Michigan. His new owner is the President of "The Pheasants Forever" chapter down state. He has been a T.V. "Star" on "Michigan out of doors". On a guided field hunt. As well as being shown on www.ricksmithkennels.com on the itinerary page.Where he has went to hunting school, Rick fell in love with this weim, and can't get over how smart he truely is... He was hunting at the age of 3mo. old, playing in the woods with his Daddy..He was Trained at "Whispering Willow Shores Kennel" up until he was 9 mo.of age.After his adoption by Bob M. he continued to show his perfection in the hunting field, as well as being a beautiful stud companion. He has shown total enthusiasium for birds continously.Last year we were told he got over 1000 birds hunting on preserves, and during Guided hunting trips that Bob provided...Now thats one hell of a bird dog.As well as a wonderful Trainer he has permanantly now...He is also on the scale these days around 120 lbs... He is now a Daddy himself, to a beautiful litter of 9 puppies.And again sired yet another litter last summer too.. All being so intelligent..All of Sunnie and Willow's puppies have shown such high intelligence its unbelieveable..Just ask some of the owners that have their puppies from previous litters.. Which i am sure there are quite a few comments about them in our "Guestbook", So be sure to take a peek at that too while visiting us on here.. References are given upon request anytime.You may call anyone we have sold a pup to, to ask about our kennel, how we raise them, what type of parent dogs we have, as well as anything you wish to ask them.. We are totally open with everyone, and can stop in to visit us anytime. Just give a call and come on over.. We would love to show off our wonderful Bunch of Weimaraners!

Sunnie is our main Stud here, he is going to be a father of a litterto be born in the beginning of May, with "Ady".She is from Wisconsin. A female releases up to 40 eggs, when they are in season.
Sunnie also sired a litter that was shown in the "Westminster Show" ( Tri-D bloodlines).They have been showing dogs for over 20 yrs. "Sunnie" is OFA Certified, as well as DNA tested, and is registered in the "Frequent sires program" thru the American Kennel Club Of America.As well is microchipped. Sunnie's Daughter "Jada" had her babies in Nov. 2003, being her first litter, All the babies were born within Three Hours, all 8 of them healthy, 4 of each sex.She was the perfect Momma we expected of her, she is such a loving dog, and so fun to play with and watch with her young.
All of our females are at Minimum 2 years of age and thensome before they are bred.We only want mature enough females caring for a large size litter. Unfortunatly we dont' know the size of our litters until delivery day. We never put our females in harms way, or risk any part of their pregnancy, we try to keep them as calm as can be, no stress around the kennel.And strive for Quality and bettering the breed its self, in every litter we preplan on having.
We are limited on the Waiting list at this time. There are only a few openings left for a puppy from the litter that has been bred a few weeks ago. If you want to get on the list yet, get in touch with us soon, after completing a general prospective interview with us,telling us all about your family activities, and how much room you have for a "Weim", as well as some other information about yourself, and your family, you may be considered for placement on our "Waiting" list of a puppy.
We only want whats in the best interest for the puppies, that soon to grow up to be big puppies. If your seriously interested, have studied this particular breed,have the time to excersize a weimaraner, and give them adequete love and attention they desire so much. And are interested in purchasing one from a Quality bloodline, We do give a Full Health Guarantee written in our contract, that the puppy you purchase is free and clean of any genetic defects.As well as their hips are guaranteed from Hip Dysplasia and elbow deformaties. We require a deposit of $400.00 down upon putting your name on our waiting list, If we have a pregnant female on site.
If we have not yet bred one of our females and you would like to get on our Guaranteed waiting list for a puppy, then all you need to put down is $100.00 , until we have a pregnant female. Then the balance of the remaining one-half down is due upon notification that we do indeed have an upcoming litter. You are given the option of paying in payments during the time your waiting for your puppy to arrive.. Or you may pay the remaining Half at time of pickup in Cash only. Please...
We require $100.00 down right now to get on our waiting list,(which is non-refundable in the event that you decide against following thru with adopting your puppy that we are holding for you.
As we do turn down people when we run out of room on our list, or they have to go onto the layover list.. So only to make it fair, you have agreed to a binding contract when you place down your monies on a puppy to be held just for you. There will not be any refunds if you decide to backout when your turn comes up for choice of a puppy. You may decide to rollover your money towards a future litter puppy if the timing isnt' right for some reason. We always try to work with people as much as possible.
The total price for these puppies $800.00
That is pickup price. If you decide for some reason to make arrangements for us to deliver them via one of our delivery people, or ourselves, there will be an additonal charge added onto delivering them, due to the time and money it costs us to leave the facility for one day, to hire someone to "house sit" by taking them outside frequently, and making sure that everyone here is as happy in our absence as possible.They do stay here to care for our dogs in our absence,as well as the costs of all our traveling fees, overnight stay, and wear and tear on our cars. The nominal fee is 75.00 to the state line,or to the U.P./Lower Mi.bridge area, and every state thereafter is an additional fee added on.. Its up to you to furnish your own carrier in the event that the puppy has to be shipped.And all shipping fees are your responsibility to be paid for before the puppy ships out.Along with a signed contract too.
We do take payments, and will send out reciepts everytime we recieve a payment from you.If you would like a reciept everytime, please request one. While you are waiting for your puppy to be ready to leave the nest. We have flexible payment plans available, so that you dont' have a large lump sum to pay for in the end.If that is what you choose to do. We are easy to work with, providing that you meet all our expectations.
Along with our puppies, comes a very generous health guarantee for their hips as well as any genetics that are life threatening. There is a contract for both parties to be signed before any puppy leaves here. They are all AKC Registered pups. They will have their first set of vaccinations done upon pickup of the pups.(Given the appropriate age for their first shots)Please read about the importance of timing with regard to puppy shots with Weims, as their immune systems can't tolerate having more than one type of shot at one time..So we do suggest and hope you will abide by listening to us, and the information we provide you upon the purchase of your puppy, that your vet only does one shot within a two wk period, and then return to your vet to have the completion of shots at a later date. They will also be wormed of any parasites several times before they leave "Whispering Willow Shores Kennel".

Day or Night.It doesn't matter when you call us, if you are in doubt about shots or any other sickness please call us first, and let us know whats going on with your pup, if we can give you the adequete advice we will certainly try to. Or call our vet to ask what they think about the situation.
Once you purchase a Quality Weim pup, or Started dog from us, you will have a lifetime of contact with the breeders. As we want to know the where abouts of all puppies that have been born here, and left here to go to only the best possible homes we screen..Hopefully we have closely screened people enough to insure that our pups are going to only the best homes possible for them.. As that is our Main concern when placing a puppy..As puppies grow up to be big puppies for their first three years of their life, and can be trying somedays.. Just as kids can be..If you feel you are "WEIM READY", then by all means contact us, and write a briefing about yourself, your family, and what your intentions and expectations are regarding the puppy you are inquiring about.
We can't stress enough that In the event that you may have to give up your dog for one reason or another, the dog MUST BE SURRENDERED back to the breeder. You will forfeit any and all costs incurred during the time you have had this dog, if you must surrender it back to us. We don't want any of our dogs ending up in the pound, or in misplaced, abusive homes what so ever.We must stick to these rules. Sorry no transfers or selling allowed of any pup bought from our kennel to anyone, besides returning the pup back to "Whispering Willowshores Kennel". As explained on the Update on Upcoming litter Page.
If you are interested in looking into owning one of our beautiful "Weim" pups, or a "started dog" from us, then call or email us, we would be happy to send you a copy of the contract that is to be signed by all parties involved in this transaction.
We protect our dogs health and wellbeing.
If your not ready to abide by these stringent rules then you shouldnt' buy a weimaraner from us. As we are here to Improve the breed, and to protect the breed as well. We are always available from the time you purchase your pup from us, for any questions, for the lifetime of the dog. So please keep in touch with us, as well as we try to do the same, but we do have quite a log of clients, that it is hard to contact everyone frequently. However we do follow up after we place a pup or started dog into any new home,to insure that the transition is going smoothly for you as the puppy. If you are unhappy with your new dog, then your dog isnt' going to be happy with you either, and perhaps that isnt' the ideal situation for either of you to be in. In that event the pup must be returned back to only us.. Surrendered without any monies returned to you. You can't sell, give away, or place the pup you buy from us in anyone else's care to live permanantly. They must be with the person or persons that signed the contract.. If we ever hear of any of our pups being in an abusive situation, you will have the dog removed from your care immediately. We do not tolerate any animal abuse here, please shower your pup or dog with lots of love.. You can get alot further with your pup if you treat it with respect and love.
