Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals is a desire to begin a new
fellowship to assist in Missions and other areas for independent Reformed
Baptist and Bible Churches. If interested contact me (Rob Gerard,
robjenny@netzero.net) and I will put you in touch with those who are heading
up this small movement. We agreed to assist them, as well as any other
group that is desiring to establish Biblical works of missions to carry the
Word of His grace forward. Stayed tune here for further news. If you
outside the USA, still contact me, I do not know if they are going to be
international as of yet.Baruch and Bracha Moaz
Baruch and Bracha Moaz (Missionaries to Israel) have been in the USA for two
months raising support and awareness. The church at home fared well in
their absence and people continue to have to stand outside to hear services
over a loud speaker. One need in the church is for the believers in Christ
that are coming in from other countries to get acclimated to the drastic
difference in the culture as they start from the "bottom rung of the ladder"
and climb up socially and economically. There is much loneliness as they
were well accepted in previous cultures such as in Russia. In one case one
believer is dating a non-believer for the attention, pray for Baruch and the
Elders that they would have wisdom in dealing with problem.More specifics on the David Vaughn family (Grenoble, France)
David and Nicky Vaughn and family arrived in Grenoble 2 months ago in
response to the work of God in the lives of Jean-Marie and Claude Butin.
They have just recently embraced the doctrines of grace and desire to see a
Reformed Baptist Church there. The Butin family has been hosting a Bible
study using the tapes from Pastor Olivier Favre, Reformed Baptist Church in
Lausanne, Switzerland based on a chapter of the 1689 Confession. The study
continues now with help of David and Jean-Marie, who prepares advanced study
notes. It is praise worthy as God has opened the heart of Mary-Jo, now a
believer in Christ. Another family recently left an Arminian Church to
attend the work. they ask prayer for a few youth who have been coming out
recently to the youth group.
Prayer is requested as they are desiring to take the gospel to the
neighborhoods, putting literature racks in different markets, and for all
the trimmings that come with establishing a church (constitutions meeting
places etc.). King's Chapel (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA) is looking forward to
receive the Vaughn's as a part of our missionary conference may 21-23. They
will be the USA for 2 weeks and meeting up with other supporting Churches as
well.Reformed Baptist Mission Service
RBMS has sent assistance to missionary Dick Walton in Sofia, Bulgaria for
the benevolent assistance of the churches of Cedo and Simo Ralevic in
Yugoslavia. Food and medical
supplies will be purchased in Sofia and carried to Nis and Pec. Praise our
God of redemption for the large hearts of His people to give and for the
dear saints of Yugoslavia in their great trial. Any other funds contributed
can be transferred at any time that they are sent to us here at
RBMS. Dick Walton does much training in the region of men for the ministry
of Christ. This is a quote from an earlier missionary letter sent to Grace
Prayer Ministry."Teaching, Training, Traveling"
Thank you for remembering us through the two months of teaching (at the
Biblical Academy) training (Church Planters) and traveling (Macedonia,
Hungary, Burgas, etc.). We rejoice that God is working in each activity as
we both teach and care for the missionaries for whom we are responsible. We
praise the Lord that visas have been promised for our colleagues in
Macedonia." Gerri (Dick's wife also teaches ladies studies)We have know the
Walton's for nearly 20 years and respect greatly the work of Christ in the
work which the Lord has given them. They have a lengthy letter concerning
their work with refugees in Macedonia. Write to me (Rob Gerard)

There is a committee of eight men met last Monday through Wednesday in
Atlanta to construct a proposal for merging RBMS into ARBCA. There is need
pray for wisdom in all the details as Bob Selph and the leaders of both the
mission and of ARBCA. We have heard no updates yet.
