Grace Prayer Bulletin # 52
A ministry of The King's Chapel
Grace Prayer Bulletin # 52
April 18, 1999First, I want to thank the Lord for the first year of ministry and his
graciousness in allowing us to be in a position to hear from so many of so
many serving Christ in many different parts of the world. To you all who
have helped, thanks for your kindness and for the patience of all of you,
may God receive the glory!Reformed BC of Magherafelt (Northern Ireland)
The Reformed Baptist Church of Magherafelt (Northern Ireland) just recently
celebrated their 2nd anniversary as a church. They are rejoicing in the
blessings both spiritually and temporal. The main event of 1998 being the
move into our new and spacious premises in June. They also appointed their
first deacon, David Hamerhill. They had four new members added in 1998 and
two already this year. The total membership of this young church is now 26.
Regular visitor's are coming and there seems to be three to four who are
showing interested in joining with the church.
The church is now hoping to reach into the community in a door to door
effort, as well as opening their book room a day and a half per week. There
desire is to be able to reach into their community to see new blood to come
among them. Robert Briggs said,"We long to see the Lord
save sinners, this is something we have been thinking much upon and
something we need to plead more and more for. It is new converts we desire
in order to build the church."
The missions interest of the church is with Arif Khan in Pakistan and the
work in Germany in which they partner with Immanuel Baptist Church of
Sacramento, California, USA. They are also indebted to the brethren in
Grand Rapids and Cornerstone, Miami who have generously supported us
financially over the past three years and whose support we will no longer
need at the end of this year when we believe we shall be totally
self-supporting.David and Nicky Vaughn
Remember the Vaughn's as they are moving into Grenoble, France as they are
preparing to establish a new work. Remember the Church in Chalon as they
continue to grow.Mike and Patti Fite
Mike and Patti Fite family in Paraguay have received a request to
combine their work with two others in the area that are in need of
leadership and teaching. This is no small decision for Mike and Patti.
They have requested wisdom for this decision.
As Mike said in his letter to his supporters, "THE MOST INTERESTING OF THESE
PROPOSALS is from another Baptist congregation that was formed about three
years ago like our own. This union would allow us to relocate on a principal
avenue of Asuncion in a rented building that was formerly a restaurant. This
would involve me preaching two services on Sundays, one in Spanish and the
other in a bilingual format, in English with partial translations in
Spanish."Fransesco Reale
Francesco Reale ( missionary in Valencia, Spain) will be in England from the
first week of May till the first week of June, I will start my visits in
Wales, where I have already received invitations, to share a bit about the
work here or just share something of the Word at midweek meetings, the truth
is I'd love to be able to get to see all those that support me within that
time if possible and of course visit those that wish to know more, of course
I have to be realistic and say that, my visit is aimed at gaining support,
in prayers and in material needs.
