Grace Prayer Bulletin # 51April 11, 1999
This last week as some of you are aware we had another glitch knocking about
200 of the list temporarily. It took me a few weeks to discover the scope
of this problem. Always feel free to question my timeliness in delivery of
Bulletins or "Views." I think I have remedied the problem, but let me know
if I am mistaking when if by Tuesday you do not receive the mailings please
drop me a line. My vacations are arranged to be able to send all in a
timely manner. Barring any unforeseen computer problems all should go well.
Thank, Rob.This week I would like to mention a brother who has temporarily left the
Grace Prayer Ministry list for two relatively extended trips. He "would
value your prayers for two overseas mission trips to S. E. Asia this year
that the Lord will encourage and challenge the churches where
I have been invited to speak, especially in the area of evangelism in a
multi-religious environment. The Lord bless you in your prayer ministry."
"D"Also from Mike Paasch:
To our prayer support team,
I find that when I am going to speak to God's people about anything, I need
God to give me boldness and God-honoring content. God has graciously given
us several opportunities to address His people about missions in general and
about our mission in particular. I am asking for prayer that I might be used
of God to bring glory to His Name and that His people would be encouraged.Mike Paasch has shared his itinerary with us as he is preparing to return to

Concerning Noble Vater and Pastor Guzman's recent trip to Haiti; the
following is a short highlight of their ministry:
"We each ministered about 3 1/2 hours in the seminars -- on the authority of
Scripture (my part) and the pastor as a counsellor (Guzman). There were 25
pastors and about 15 other leaders. They were given at least one book each
and some sermons on cassette in Creole, recordings of the simultaneous
translation of some sermons preached at IBSJ in Santo Domingo.
We preached at 7 different churches, dividing up on the Lord's Day and
preaching at 4 different churches. Another Haitian pastor, a good
translator according to the man who went along with us and heard him
translate for me on Friday night, teamed up with me while Mr Kawas stayed
with Pastor Guzman. Except for one church, the buildings were crowded,
though most of the
buildings are small. Still, it was estimated that I preached to no less
than 500 people on Sunday morning. That was the largest crowd, but in other
places there were a 100 or 150 or even more, some having to stand, and at
one place even standing outside by the windows where the wooden shutters
stood open."Please give thanks for the Lord's goodness to us on the Haiti trip, and
pray for this quick trip to the US, for the men here who will minister in
my absence this Lord's Day, and for the upcoming retreat.Yours by the grace of God,
Noble VaterA Church For Prem Waghmare? From Nagpur, India.
There have been a group of about 7 men who have been meeting faithfully
devoting themselves to "the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in
breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:42). Seems like the Lord is
allowing us to begin or establish a Sovereign Grace Baptist Church
here in the city of Nagpur. For the last couple of Sundays we have been
meeting in homes of the brethren. I am amazed the way HE is working in
building His Church. In the midst of many trials, the glimpse of His
precious presence is experienced. Praise and glory be to
His blessed name!
Your servants for Christ Jesus,
Prem Waghmare
