Grace Prayer Bulletin # 50
April 4,1999This will be a very short one. I hope we will all be praying for one
another as some who would not normally be at Church will be. This is what
is being faced in Brussels as well as many other places. We shared with you
at Christmas how many heard the gospel including a number of Jewish contacts
in Brussels. We received the following letter a few weeks ago.Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
At the end of last year I wrote to thank you for praying for our Christmas
"party" here in Brussels, Belgium. You may recall that over 50 visitors
attended. Some have been back for Sunday services and we are still in
contact with the others.
I said then that we would be organizing a more "classical" presentation of
the gospel message. This is to take place on the evening of Good Friday,
April 2.
Would you pray please for our "Pascal Meditation" - a series of texts, from
Old & New Testaments, together with appropriate hymns. The title of the
evening is to be "One Friday on the earth". We are planning on inviting
back all those who came before.
We praise God that one hurdle has already been overcome. As we don't have
permanent use of our meeting hall (in fact we can normally only use it on a
Sunday morning) we had to obtain permission from the owners. They had
already refused this for a wedding on May 1st. We were relieved therefore
when it was granted this time. Please pray also, therefore, that we will be led to a building that we can
purchase, at the right price, in the not too distant future. This will
greatly help the Gospel cause here in this needy country.
Yours in His grace,
Colin Howells CHOWELLS@compuserve.com
