A Young Brunk
This is a letter forwarded from a friend of mine and of the Brunk family.
I was encouraged how missions can and ought to begin at any age. Andrew, I believe is 15 and is getting to go Zambia with his parents in about 2 years. He is currently visiting with his Grandparents who are in China on business.Hello this is Andrew I just wanted to ask if Dave told you about the time I had w/ the missionary friends and we got to witness to Scott. Ask him for the letter. I hope that you guys had a good New Year with Grandma. Well talk to you later ask Dave for the letter I wrote the missionaries.
THIS IS AN EDITION TO THE LETTER!!!!!!!!!!! A couple minutes ago I led T.Q. to the LORD. He is very excited about it and wants to go to church. Please write ASAP back so I can get some answers to these questions:
1) I just talked to one of the ones that go the missionaries church and they are very strong Charismatic!!!! They want me to come but I don't think I should it is probably not the best environment for T.Q. Let me know if I should?????
2) I am having T.Q. start reading in Matthew because the translations in John are allot like Buddhism. Is that what you suggest?
Dad I have decided I will probably not go to the church they are wanting to make a special meeting with T.Q. and I but I probably won't have them come. T.Q. is very excited about knowing Christ. He is now wanting to read the Bible allot. I have been careful about what he reads and making sure he is understanding the Bible. He is reading each section about 3 times first in Chinese then in English then in Chinese. I have decided to give him my Scofield Bible the hardback one and also my John by Pink study book I told him to read the entire New Testament BEFORE he starts John by Pink. I also suggested that he read the New Testament 2 times before he reads Revelation. Any other suggestions about what to do please let me know. I was able to get a Chinese English New Testament but not OT . I gave him a Chinese Bible and my Scofield so he should be fine. I also gave him all my extra tracts. He has my email address so if he has any questions he can ask over email. He is very faithful about writing he works with PC's so he is always using them.
Please ask the Chinese at the church if they know of any GOOD churches in Beijing. Maybe Mr. Lawton will know of some. He and I are both very excited and thank you for praying for my daily Bible Study. I have been able to get it in the last 3 days and so far every day I have read, something GREAT has happened. The First time was in Beijing and we were coming home from the Great Wall and I gave him and his girlfriend a tract. They didn't think much of it because they were confused about it but today I gave him another one after he accepted Christ and he understood it perfectly! Now I will tell you about how this all happened. I had just finished reading my bible in Judges 3-7 and he came back from the film store. I was writing a post card at the time and he asked if he could read my book. I said sure I opened it to John 3 and he started reading it to himself. The old KJV confused him so I read it with him I took him to verse# 7 about Moses and the serpents and explained everything to him. He understood what I meant! I explained that all he had to do was believe then I asked him if he wanted to. He stood up got on his bed. Gave a few excuses why not to. I asked him again; he said sure. I had him bow his head and say what I said. He was very happy along with me. Now I have to realize that it wasn't ME that it was God working through me. I made sure to get that from my reading this morning and then I didn't think it would be quite this good but God is a good God and he does things unexpected of what we as sinners think. I want to praise him for his great and marvelous work.
Please pray that I will take time to the right passages at the right time to answer his many questions and PLEASE ask the Chinese in our church if they know of any churches in Beijing that he might be able to go to. Thank you for your prayers and pass the info to everyone.

This following paragraph was from the letter of Fransesco Reale. We hear many stories from Spain how God is beginning to turn this nation around. The sobering fact is Catholicism is still in a strangle hold upon the people. Slow changes are being made, and we must bathe this nation in prayer. This is well illustrated by Fracseco.

On October 4, Princess Elena and her husband Jaime christened Philip John, heir first born in the royal palace. At the close of the ceremony they ffered him to the virgin in observance of royal tradition. The Archbishop of Madrid mentioned in his homily that Philip John was born into the royal family which has maintained its Catholicism throughout its long history. When Ferdinand and Isabel conquered the moors and ended their 700 year dominion over much of Spain, the Pope gave them the title of Catholic Kings t0hus beginning 500 long years of catholic domination. The Prime Minister of Spain was also present, he also is a practicing catholic. Since his right wing government has been in power there has been a continual erosion of religious freedom gained under the previous socialist regime.James White
James White has a very good ministry to cultic group via the Web and lecturing he lives in what I believe is the eastern area of Phoenix. He deals with Catholic issues if anyone is in need of helpful information. This is the apologetics ministry of James White. Alpha and Omega Ministries is the one-stop shopping page if you're looking for material and information on apologetics and hermeneutics. James has authored several books including The Roman Catholic Controversy, The Fatal Flaw, Letters to a Mormon Elder, God's Sovereign Grace, The King James Only Controversy, Drawn by The Father, and co-author of Sola Scriptura.
Another good ministry to Catholics is Mission to Catholics at
