Grace Prayer Bulletin # 88
12-25-1999

Then they all said, "Are You then the Son of God?" So He said to them, "You
rightly say that I am." And they said, "What further testimony do we need?
For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth."
(Luke 22:70-71; NKJ)

The Master's Mission - Robbinsville, North Carolina
Paul Teasdale is the Executive Director of The Master's Mission.
The Master's Mission provides a number of services to assist
the local Church in sending Missionaries.
From their base in Robbinsville, North Carolina they offer
training for a Biblically qualified missionary family in
preparation for a lifetime of service. Their training starts
in the first week of September and ends in the following August
in its first week. Missionary candidates live in cabins and
learn both Biblical and technical skills to live in harsh
environments.
Another area The Master's Mission assist the local Church in
missions is to help them develop a Biblical pattern for sending
missionaries. They emphasize the role of elders and their
responsibility in the area of missions. The local Church is
the pattern set forth in Scripture as the mechanism for the
carrying out of the work of missions. The Master's Mission
is willing to assist with training and information in line with
Biblical doctrine.
David Blackney, the Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in
Robbinsville also labors as a part of The Master's Mission.
He facilitates the "Biblical Philosophy of Missions Seminars."
This is beneficial in supplying your Church with the opportunity
to develop a philosophy that is Biblical in its foundation
instead of one of the many "modern concepts" that are abundantly
available today. This can be done on site at your Church, there
is no cost for this to the host Church. I would suggest you
assist The Master's Mission in that you try to coordinate a
seminar with other Reformed Grace Churches in your region.
The seminar is usually conducted in three sessions. David covers
the groundwork, Biblical Qualifications for Missions, and
implementing or strengthening the Biblical Philosophy of missions
in your Church.
David can be contacted at TMMDavidBlackney@Juno.com, 1-(828)
479-3723 or at the base 1-(800)419-8618.
The Master's Mission can also be of assistance in getting the
local churches missionary to the field. They can help in such
areas as accounting services, passports and visas, crating and
shipping. They also assist in counseling churches in solving
problems the Missionary may face on the field.
There is an open invitation for anyone desiring to visit the
training base in Robbinsville, North Carolina. This will give
you an opportunity to see the facilities and the training in
person. they offer a relaxing visit that will encourage you
and give you an opportunity to discuss the mission opportunities
that await at The Master's Mission.
Some of the specific areas of training that The Master's Mission
offers the Missionary Candidates at the training base are:
Learning the Scriptural foundation for vocational missions.
Both in the message for God's grace and in the method of going
out. The family is taught to live in a Biblical manner under
the stress of a mission environment. The purpose of this is
so they learn if the can "cut it" before they arrive on a foreign
field, and at what capacity they can go. They learn the Biblical
principles of living in a New Testament Mission as patterned
after Scripture. They relation to a new and different culture
is dealt with in order to teach the missionary how to handle
the people and culture with grace and without compromise.
Whether they go to a urban, rural or jungle setting, the pattern
Biblically will be the same.
Technically, there is a difference, which leads us to the next
area of training. There are two curriculum, the Women's and
the Men's curriculum. The men are taught Heavy Construction
and mill work for building airstrips, roads and dams. They
learn lighter construction for building homes, churches, and
other buildings. They are also taught mechanical skills for
working on diesel engines, power stations, basic community
planning and light development.
The Women's Curriculum on the other hand deal with practical
demands that lie upon the home. Items such as travel navigation,
health and first aid, office administration and communication.
Areas such as training other women and teaching children and
handling deputation and travel facilitation. Matters of the
home that will be unique to the culture they will going to as
well as overviews of other cultures in case location needs to
change suddenly. Handling these turbulent changes are a subject
of learning as the Wife and Mother must be able to be the
stabilizer of the children and helper of the husband.
The Master's Mission is there to assist the local Church in
facilitating the movement of those in your Church who are
desirous to take the gospel of grace to the weary fields that
are white unto the harvest. Through a development or an
enhancement of your mission program, into a more Biblical pattern
your Church can facilitate the use of the gifts in the people
of your Church to build up the body (see Ephesians 4:11-17).

Andre Noureux - American Hospital - Bahrain
"We have just heard that our brother Andre Noureux from Grace Bible
Church in Tulsa is considering to serve the Lord in Bahrain (Persian
Gulf). Andre just came back from visiting the well-know American
Mission Hospital in Bahrain where it is question for him to minister.
Samuel Zwemer started this hospital about a century ago. The majority of
people living in Bahrain are Muslims. However, Andre will also be able to
serve the Lord in cooperation with several local Christian congregations.
Since our brother Andre served the Lord for many years in Morocco (North
Africa) and in Iraq (Middle-East), he certainly would be glad if the Lord
would definitely open a door for his ministry in the Persian Gulf. Please
pray for Andre as the people in charge at the American Mission Hospital in
Bahrain make their final decision concerning Andre's ministry over there.
Please pray also for all the needs that Andre Noureux may have in connection
with this new ministry (spiritual needs, financial needs, etc...).
