Grace Prayer Bulletin # 85

'But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this
purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you
have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. (Acts 26:16,

Note: Due to the holidays and the Catholic celebrations the Prison has
suspended all the meetings until after the new year.
Pray for Javier, a solid student of Scripture, which Mike says is sadly the
exception and not the rule is considering going up to the University of
Sonora and will being working as an assistant to the Mexican, English
language students. Javier is very fluent in English as well as Spanish.
This is a good opportunity for a witness for Christ where there is little
currently. Mike said he will be missed greatly in Hermisillo if the Lord
opens this door. Pray for Instituto Kairos (Kairos: the appropriate time) as
they
work with the 3 Mexican pastors, continuing in the desire for a Biblical
Institute. They make up the directorship of the institute, and have been
discussing curriculum in which to start the school. Working with FLET
stands for Facultad Latinoamericana de Estudios Teologicos (Faculty of Latin
American Theological Studies). FLET has a strong reformed direction as it is
affiliated with Knox and Reformed Theological Seminaries. FLET provides
accreditation, and materials on just the type of course we are planning to
offer. They all decided that they would pursue this assistance from FLET to
start with. It will give us some credibility as well. What is exciting to me
is that, all I have seen produced by FLET, is excellent material. In their
statement of faith they state their belief that, "God is sovereign in
creation, revelation, redemption, and judgment." Please pray for this.
January 14 is the start date, Lord willing.

We do thank the Lord that last night we had the news that they had found
what sounds like a good place for our meetings. It is not that large about
350 sq. ft plus another 210 sq. ft room to use for children's Sunday School
and visitors. They reckon we should be able to seat about 70 there and we
can take the wall down and link the two rooms. It would be good to outgrow
it quickly. Please give thanks to the Lord with us. It is in a good down
town location not far from where we have been meeting at Presby's Chicken
Restaurant.
TONDO Outreach - Manila
Please continue to pray that the Lord will raise up a strong reformed church
in the area. Brian was able to witness to about 30 in a meeting recently.
Mike Watters the missionary who is working there has been given a large sum
of money by a Christian Chinese business man. Please pray for wisdom on how
the money should be used.

The Church plant in Krapina, Croatia
This report from Todd Dick comes via The Master's Seminary.
"Ministry is varied and active here in Croatia. We (Kris Brackett, Walter
Heaton, Misko Horvatek, & Todd Dick) are busy with the Krapina church plant,
located in a region of approximately 150,000 people called Zagorje. This
region was the least affected by the Reformation; there are 88 Catholic
churches and only one Protestant church---our church plant in Krapina.
We have (besides our missionary family) eight professing believers in our
church. This past June, we had our baptism service. It was the first adult
baptism by immersion in over 500 years in this region. These eight people
are the only believers (that we know of) in all of Zagorje. You can do the
math---150,000 people and only eight known professing believers! We have
much work to do. Croatians are very hospitable people, but their hearts are
very cold toward the Gospel---please pray that God will draw many to
Himself. There is a tremendous need for a training center here in Croatia.
