"4th Annual Gothic Beauty Pageant- The Tantric
Journey"
Houston, TX, 2/24/03 - The one and only Texas yearly Gothic Beauty Pageant is upon us on March 6th, 2003. Coming to you for its 4th Annual run at Underworld/Numbers Nightclub, Houston's Premiere Goth/Industrial nightclub.
This Pageant has been a yearly celebration of the beauty and fashion that both female and male contestants bring to the Underworld stage representing the underground and gothic scene. We have been a very misunderstood group/scene and this is our way of having fun and enjoying and celebrating all the good and fun aspects of this scene.
We have four judges that judge the contestants on originality,beauty and overall appearance. There is one female and male winner that is crowned Miss and Mr. Spooky of that year and there are 2 runner-ups as well. Although there is no talent portion and it is done for fun we do take a professional and serious outlook on the judging and the overall event.
We try to give each Pageant a unique touch with a yearly theme. This year we have "The Tantric Journey".
This will be reflected in the decor of the night and overall ambiance.We will have door prizes,vendors, intermission acts- Kama Sutra Dancers from Houston and Bizzaro "The Magician" from Dallas, cash prizes for the winners and DJS spinning goth/industrial/ebm/synthpop/darkwave all night.Doors @ 9pm and cover is only $8.
