32. PAUL'S LETTER TO THE PHILIPPIANS - CLICK ON "NEXT" AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH PAGE

This is a very beautiful letter, written by Paul in prison at Rome, between 61 - 63 A.D.. It is a letter of Encouragement and Appreciation but also one of Warning against the legalistic Judaisers and those with heretical concepts. 33. PAUL'S LETTER TO THE COLOSSIANS - CLICK ON "NEXT" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

This is another of Paul's four "Prison Epistles", written to a church with an uncertain origin. Paul strengthens the Believers to stand fast in the Faith and not fall victims to the "Colossian Heresy". In the area, there were numerous pagan cults including those which practiced "Angel Worship" and Asceticism and Paul counsels against associating with such groups. Familial Responsibilities are also emphasised and exhortation is given to strengthen Prayer Life and Proper Conduct.

34. PAUL'S FIRST LETTER TO THE THESSALONIANS - CLICK ON "NEXT" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

35. PAUL'S SECOND LETTER TO THE THESSALONIANS - CLICK ON "NEXT" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

As also in his first letter to the Thessalonians, Paul encourages the church to remain faithful and steadfast in view of what was thought to be the imminent Return of Christ. Such misunderstanding called for Disipline against the disorderly elements who stopped working while "waiting" for the Return.

36. PAUL'S FIRST LETTER TO TIMOTHY - CLICK ON "NEXT" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

Paul regards Timothy as his "True Son in the Faith" but still feels it necessary to advise and counsel Timothy in how to remain steadfast in the face of persecution and how to conduct himself in administering church affairs. The church is warned against Apostasy and given wisdom in selecting those for position of leadership as Elders / Bishops and Deacons. Timothy's Godly grandmother Lois and mother Eunice are given special mention.

38. PAUL'S LETTER TO TITUS - CLICK ON "NEXT" AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH PAGE

Like Paul's first letter to Timothy, Paul writes to a young church leader, urging Titus to strengthen the churches on the Island of Crete, that they may elect to Ministry those Elders who are faithful to Jesus and to appoint Elders in every city, those who preach "Sound Doctrine" and who are "Zealous for Good Works".
