The GOLDIE FILM AWARDS was founded in 1984 to give recognition to outstanding film and video productions, CD productions, TV-programs, tv-spot commercials, audio productions, and now internet productions and scripts and to inspire creativity. The administrator is an experienced feature film producer from a 3-generation film/TV production family. Since 1984 hundreds of films and TV-spot commercials have received awards in the previous programs. ELIGIBILITY
All films, videos (both VHS and DVD), CD Productions, TV-spot commercials, tv-shows, audio productions, Internet productions and scripts finished after December 1, 2004 are eligible.

Send in your films, TV-spot commercials, TV-shows, CD Productions, internet productions, script or audio entry with the $35. (U. S.) entry fee for each entry in cash, check or money order )Made out to: COGW) or credit card. ***VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DISCOVER cards accepted via PAYPAL --tell us if you want to use the credit card and we will send you an invoice by e-mail billing you. Entries can also be sent without the entry form but please give contact details on Producer, address, E-mail address, etc. We then, will also choose an appropriate category for your film.
Film, TV-spot commercials and TV entries must be on VHS cassettes or DVD copies (NTSC signal). Multiple TV-commercials must be on same tape or DVD with a seperation of at least 6 seconds between each commercial. CD productions on CD's accepted for computer display.
Scripts must be sent in binders with a short biographical page included.
Audio productions can be on DVD, CD, VHS cassette or standard audio cassettes.
All Entries must be sent with the $35. (U. S.) entry fee for each entry. Additional categories may be chosen for an additional $35. per category. ***VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DISCOVER cards accepted via PAYPAL --tell us you want to use the credit card and we will send you an invoice by e-mail.

Include self-addressed stamped envelope or a post-paid postcard if you want to be notified of receipt of your entry. Otherwise, all entries will be confirmed by e-mail. Please make sure that we have your correct e-mail address (Important!).
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee is $35.(U. S.) for each entry. We cannot accept purchase orders. Make checks or money orders payable to COGW.
Foreign entries must be paid for by an International Money Order or bank draft payable for $35. (U. S.) written on a U. S. bank or U. S. cash ($35.) Canada Post Office Money Orders in U. S. Dollars for $35. are accepted. Special arrangements can be made for bona-fide students in attendance presently at a college, university or High School.

JUDGING
The Judges are top film/TV production professionals and Goldie Awards winners. Entries which attain a score of 7.1 to 8.9 on the 10-point scale will be finalists for Silver Goldie Film Award. Entries scoring 9.0 to 9.9 are Grand Goldie Award winners. Judges opinions and decsions are final and private. The privacy of the judges (the members of the Jury) will be respected. Director of the Year and Producer of the Year awards are also made. Entry fee of $35. (U. S.) is the same.
AWARDS
All Winners will be notified when judging is completed and be sent FREE an embossed-sealed genuine parchment Awards Certificate for the Silver Goldie Film Award or the Grand Goldie Film Award.
Only Grand Goldie and Silver Goldie Winners will be sent the (OPTIONAL) Goldie Awards Wall Plaque order form (The optional wall plaque is only $110. (postpaid) or $150. (U. S.) postpaid if foreign address)) so that they can receive the highly desired optional attractive, heavyweight (it weighs 3lbs., 4 ounces), elegant, solid walnut wood WALL PLAQUE (the "Prize!") with the Award permanently mounted on it for display on your office wall. Duplicate embossed-sealed genuine parchment award certificates ($35. each) and additional wall plaques ($110. each) can also be purchased for Directors, Producers, Editors and Writers of the award-winning film.
The Goldie Awards Wall Plaque and the duplicate award certificate will be shipped to winners immediately upon receipt of their paid optional awards wall plaque order.
