The door
Standing in a place so crowded
barely any could know
what can stop these thoughts so clouded
not knowing where to go
Opening a door, she stumbles and falls
yet another dead end
Looking out she calls and calls
longing for the voice of a friend
around the corner, she spots a man
who is filled with deciet and lies
she pursues him but he and ran
leaving her with tear filled eyes
then she notices the door by the light
she walked to it with no stall
It seemed this door was never in sight
until she lost it all
she she walked through to the other side
still remaining on her feet
at last, she found it, the door was inside
her own internal retreat
soon finding that she was missing a source
she started to search around
this time she chose a different course
and the secret to Joy she found
The door led to life unknown
of actual joy and peace
finally revealed, His door was shown
showing His love that will never cease

I will worship You with my hands held high
When all is taken away, except Your precious Name
I will woship You with my hands to the sky
When the time flies, without a second to spare
I will worship You with my time
When I think of being arrogant, or act with no care
I will worship You and lay down my pride
When I wake up and Your presence isn't near
I will worship You with hope
When the world pulls me down and tells me to fear
I will worship You alone

I give up and let it all go
I'm calling on Your name
I know I have an eternal home
And that Your love remains the same
Right now my, Lord
I am desparate for You
I am calling you out, Lord
Show me what to do
I long for Your words
I dream of Your face
I'm flying higher than birds
Ovewhelmed with grace
I want Your will
I need Your way
My thirst You fill
My path You've made
I just need more
There's this longing inside
You have opened many doors
and My love I won't hide
How can I know You
Beyond what is known
What can I do
With this much grace shown
My Father, My Lord
Come down and touch me
I am craving for more
To know you completly

Never be the Same
Sweet dreams she calls to me
Not knowing what little truth she sees
As she tucks me into bed at night
I wander what tommorrow will see
A world of lies, of deciet and hate
Of teenagers wanting to die
Of murders, robberies, is this our fate?
Are we only alive to die?
Pain consumed this very soul
I poured it out everytime i cried
By getting deeper i was cold
One day I wanted to die, I tried
Unsuccesful i searched for a thing
Unsure of what it be
I didn't know a singe thing
Except for the emtiness inside of me
Then my friend introduced mr to Him
I really didn't have the time
My life just kept caving in
Trapping me to the ground to die
Yet the friends still persisted
I was too skeptical to purse
But somehow when I listened
Thier words all seemed true
I didn't believe it; just heard
What my friends had to say
Clinging to me every word
Left me with no defence to say
But I continued, despite them
Ignoring my friends persistance
I continued to fight them
Denying God's existance
Then one day I was shattered
And just wanted to give up
Nothing anymore matteres
For I didn't believe in love
But my friends, they came and helped me
Talked to me some more
It came to them easily
What did they have to live for?
But that night it became clear
That thier lives are real
They don't need anything here
They don't have to see of feel
They have a light in them
One I couldn't describe
But that night I knew it then
That what's in them is God
So I went to school the next day
They knew it right away
I didn't have a word to say
Cause I knew my life would be ok
God came into my life that night
He stole away the pain
He cave me a reason for life
And I'll never be the same.

What's Stopping You?
How can you hold onto somthing you can't see
How can you keep somthing not meant to be
How can I know that a higher power exists
You won't listen, but I'll still persist
How do I know that His love is true
Maybe it's because of all I've been through
All the pain and hurt of life
The ways of the world just got so trite
All I wanted was a friend
Who would be with me until the end
All I wanted was a little love
That was when I looked above
The pain inside vanished that day
The second I gave my life away
And how can I believe somthing i can't see?
It's because of this joy inside of me
Because of the way I instantly changed
And how my life rearranged
This is how I know God is true
So can you tell me, What's stopping you?

My lifetime creator
My spirit's savior
My soul provider
My worldly divider
My one and only truth
My counsoler, who sees me through
My father who loves me so
My father whose love shows
My Jesus who gave my life
My God who got me by
My lifetime dedication
My spirit's determination
My Father's demonstation
My God's creation
My Jesus' love
My God above
My father's life was given
My sins were forgiven
My heart consumed in grace
My fathers's smile on his face
My life, my God
My life, given up
My God, my love

Listen for your voice

Can you Feel It?
Can you feel the love inside,
Overpowering all the pain?
Consuming your heart, killing your pride
Making you stand and sing
Can you feel the vibe around you
Overthrowing all the lies
It's up, down, around, and through
Leaving you hypnotized
Can you feel the new found love
You'll never want to let it go
The joy that comes from above
The place where you'll go home
Can you feel the eternal change
That started when you prayed
How your life's rearranged
That moment you were saved

Nothing can explain
What you have given me
Al I know is I'm goin insane
And for once life seems easy
It all started last night
When i wanted to die but called upon you
And then I surrendured my life
And lifted up my burdens too
You took them from me and saved my soul
You cared enough to take them away
Somehow today i'm not so cold
And you're the only way I can explain
And now your love's inside of me
And i got this feeling i craved
Now for once i can see

Known Truth
All that you've done for me
Is more than words can describe
More than the eyes can see
Higher than the sky
Yet you continue to do more

I wish I could give you back
The amount of love youv'e given me
So many time I fall off track
And get rescued by your mercy
So many times i rejected your truth
But you called out my name
You said,"I just wanna be with you"
And you love me just the same
You're always there with your love
To rescue me from the world
So today I looked above
And realized I'm Daddy's little girl.

No closed doors,
Open soul,
Opened wide enough to see the light.
No closed hearts,
Open mind.
Opened wide enough to know what’s right.
Opened doors.
Opened life.
Leave your close-doored past behind.
Open yourself,
And keep the truth.
Explain the love inside of you.
Use truth’s key
To unlock doors.
Make your heart burn for more.
Show your love
To those in need
And by watching they will see
The truth inside
Is bound to show,
The distance God’s love will go.
Unlimited greatness,
No words can say
Open-doored souls head eternity’s way.

I know that you surround me,
Because your grace hasn’t left.
And I know this love’s real,
I feel it in my chest.
Speak to me my Jesus,
I wish to hear only you.
I know you hear this cry,
Now I pray I hear you too!
For this young heart is yearning,
To hear your great voice.
Lead me in your direction,
And block out the noise.
Why won’t you speak yet?
Have I done something wrong?
Wanting to hear you tell me
Will I have to wait that long?
When will I hear you?
So I can know for sure,
That your love will guide me always,
Cause’ it’s what I’m waiting for.
I listen so hard at times,
But I’m sure it’s just my mind.
I just listen harder.
I know I’m not left behind.
But yet this longing remains,
To know what is your will.
I know one day your voice will come,
And I’ll just wait until.

Simple Things
The simple things in life
Are usually the best
Like a homemade card
That you got from a friend
It put a thought in your mind
That they used a lot of thier time to make it
And to make it perfect for you
Then the simple thing of waking up
On a beautiful morning day
The birds sing thier songs
And you're snug in bed smiling
Thanking God for letting you live today
Then your day goes great
All because you enjoyed a simple thing
Another simple thing I love
Is walking down the street
Walk by someone and smile
You might have made thier day
"maybe this world has some good people"
They'll say
So take the time God gave us
And use it to help others
Whether we make a card
Or smile
We can enjoy the simple things
The time we use to watch t.v
Take a walk through your mind
When was the last time you enjoyed
A simple thing?

Oceans Side
Sitting by the ocean
The tide coming in so close
I'm writing words with motion
As this inspiration flows
The wind blows my hair to the left
A gentle breeze is on the right
This is God's creation at best
An example of what's in sight
My feet dug deep in the sand
All my worries fly free
God makes what no man can
An example is the sea
The most peaceful place on earth I am
When I'm by the oceans side
Walking softly in the sand
The sea can break my stride
I want to fall asleep
The ocean's quiet waves
Entering perfect peace
As the oceans song plays
Right here I see
From you I can't hide
Your love is in me
I'm by the ocean's side

Another Day
Gazing up at the sky
Your mind wanders so long
All your thoughts begin to fly
As they do in a song
Only the thoughts do not cease
They'll go on forever
The sky gives a perfect peace
And the sky is there forever
Sunrise, so many colors shine
Giving off a brilliant light
Not a dark soul is left behind
As the morning's voice is insight
The sunset, so romantic knows
This is the end of today
Of all joys and sorrows
Tomorrow brings another day
Days filled of snow or rain
The droplets on my skin
Washes away all the pain
And the joyous sky fills in
Little flurries of white snow
Pure silence as it lay
Sounds disappear then they grow
As the sky develops another day
My favorite ay night is the moon
Comforting all who sleep
Knowing mornings' coming soon
It grieves with those who weep
When I'm counting the stars at night
Eight, nine, ten, eleven
I know my thoughts must be right
I'm seeing a glimpse of Heaven

My wonderful life
My life is wonderful
With friends and some family that care
My life is wonderful
Knowing Grandparents will always be there
My life is wonderful
When I have someone to talk to every weekend or thursday
My life is wonderful
To have at least two people on my life who know what to say
My life is wonderful
When someone tells me that they love me
My life is wonderful
When thier reminding me we'll be reunited in eternity
My life is wonderful
Despite my many tears
My life is wonderful
Despite my many fears
My life is wonderful
It is because my grandparents listen to my side
My life is wonderful
It is because my grandparents know what i hide
And when i am mad at mom or dad
My Grandparents are the reason I am glad
Surely my life is wonderful
When grammy or Granpy are there to help me know
That my life is wonderful
And by giving me thier love this they show
My life is wonderful
And when this they read
They'll know how wonderful
that they are to me
