HOLLAND LOP RABBITS-'The Hallmark Breed'

Well, I am back into Hollands-I just can't resist them. Hopefully I will have some babies this fall

The Holland Lop is the smallest of the lop-eared breeds. They are shown posed with the head carried high and close to the shoulder, showing a well-filled chest and short, thick forelegs. The Holland should be short and massive for it's small size-the ideal senior weight is 3 pounds. The ears hang close to the cheeks, suspended from a strongly defined crown. The fur is glossy, dense and fine with a rollback coat. They come in many recognized colors, but are shown in either Solid or Broken classes, with no division for individual colors.

I would like to thank Rosa Fields and Judy Fitzgerald for getting me involved in this charming breed!
