Jessica Swackhamer/Smith's Poetry

(What is true love) True love is caring and sharing, loving and being loved. True love is walking hand in hand, talking heart to heart. For when true love is near, its a beatiful thing, it enriches ones soul and makes thy heart sing.

(One Kiss) With just one kiss i've found true love, that had started forming endar and overwhelming words into soothing rhyme throughout my mind.

(Spring is here) You can tell when, mother nature starts to awaken, when the sun begins rising, and the birds bigin flying through the misty sky...and on the ground lies a bed of floweres aligned in a yard of grass covered in dew, left behind from yesterday evening's rain!

(you're not being a mom) a beating here a beating there, I dont understand i'm just a kid, you're not being a mom... a beating here a beating there, such hateful words from someone im supposed to hold near, you're not being a mom... a beating here a beating there, a black eye a fat lip, you're not being a mom... a beating ere a beating there, once a day sometimes more, you're not being a mom...now im grown and far from home, starting a life all my own, and you want to be mom...

(the real me) theres so much that no one knos so much that no one sees about the way I feel inside my thoughts and all my needs, naybe its because i'm scared to let you know, maybe its because you just dont ask, i'm not sure of the exact reason, but...i'm opening up because i'm starting to love you and i've always cared, so perhaps if you took some time, looked deep down inside, you would see and get to know the real me...
