The strategies involved in searching for physical indicators and evidence of crime require the knowledge, cooperation and integration of many different scientific and law enforcement disciplines. The success of a search strategy depends on the skill and expertise of each discipline leader.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
GeoForesnics International was founded in 1998 by Clark Davenport. With more than 13 years experience in criminal and environmental crime investigations, Clark understands how to develop and implement search strategies to reveal physical evidence. He provides criminal investigators direct expertise in the following disciplines

* Satellite and Aerial Photography
(color, black & white, false color infrared)

* Thermal Imaging
(forward looking infrared, FLIR)

* Land, Marine, Airborne geophysical surveys
(magnetics,electromagnetics, ground
penetrating radar [GPR], side scan sonar)

Through a national resource base, Clark recommends qualified scientists and investigators experienced in criminal investigations and with expertise in the following disciplines:

* Forensic Anthropology
* Forensic Archaeology

Over the past 34 years, Clark has performed remote sensing and geophysical surveys for forensic, environmental, archaeological, groundwater, geotechnical, and mining investigations throughout the world. Since 1987, he has provided criminal investigation services and advice for clients such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, New South Wales Police, and state/municipal agencies in over twenty states and seven countries.

As a co-founder of NecroSearch International, Clark is an active participant in on going applied research studying physical and chemical changes that occur after burial of a body. He developes and presents intensive training programs on the applications and limitations of scientific disciplines in locating physical evidence and human remains. He is a former instructor at the Colorado Law Enforcement Training Academy, currently teaches with the Red Rocks Community College POST program, and since 1991 is an invited instructor at the FBI Academy.

Clark is a decorated Vietnam combat veteran. He served as chairman of the Engineering and Groundwater Committee of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, a Board Member of the Denver Post Society of American Military Engineers, a Board Member of NecroSearch International, a founding member of the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society and adjunct faculty member, Department of Anthropology, Colorado State University.
