You Can Know The Truth And Not Understand It!

The Bible is a book of truth, however, we don’t always understand it. God knows this. He allowed the writer to say, according to Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

It is possible to have a lot of knowledge, but not have the proper understanding. Many have the Bible, but don’t understand it. Many can quote scripture, but don’t understand the scripture. According to the scripture above, understanding is important, also.

A person must understand that the Bible presents a picture of Jesus. You can be aware of Jesus, but not understand him. Since the Bible is a book of truth, the writer lets us know that Jesus Is it’s object. It is stated in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Notice the word “truth”. The Bible is a book of truth. Jesus is the truth. Therefore, one must have an understanding of Jesus.

Many battles, in life, could be won, if more understood Jesus, in addition to, having a knowledge of him. Ask yourself, would you rather have a million dollars or the proper understanding of how to invest it to bring in a return for life? Once again, I refer you to the above scripture in Proverbs 4:7.

Many know about salvation, but don’t understand it. There is much involved in salvation, but if there is little understanding, many of its’ benefits will be missed.

K. Satan will be bound for one day. However, the reality of one day, to the Lord, is different, from its’ interpretation in the earth. Revelation 20:2, II Peter 3:8
L. Saints may have other insurances, but we also have HGI. Holy Ghost Insurance. The cost is Faith.
M. You can only have a harvest, after a seed has been planted. Some have planted the seed, but have not watered it.
N. Everyone has something that motivates them. What motivates you?
