Boss: Super Gigantic Mega Likes-To-Hang-On-Pipes Plant Monster
---------------------------------------------------------------

(I don't know the name of this thing, incase you wondering about the strange name I placed above... sorry). Okay, here we go. Pick up the Batarang boxes to your sides, whip 'em out, dodge the acid he spits from his mouth (be careful - if a blob of acid hits an area, that erea will be covered in acid for a couple of seconds) and hit one of the two side arms of his repeatedly. After you hit one of the side arms enough, he will let go of a pipe with that arm. Hit the little white wheel on the pipe that he is not grabbing onto to prevent him from grabbing it again. Do the same with the opposite arm until he is only hanging onto the pipes with his back leg. Hit THAT repeatedly until he falls into the acid tank below. Don't celebrate yet - you haven't defeated him. To do so, take out your Bat-Grapple and fire at the target at the opposite end of this room. It will take you to an electrical switch. Pull it, and watch the sparks fly.

In this cinematic cut-scene, all of Ivy's plants will get deep fat fried. One of the vines will slap Ivy, electrocuting her, and making her drop the cure for the stomach/plant problem. Batman will give it to Mayor Hill and tell him to make sure that everyone with a plant in them should get treated.

The next few levels will all take place in a flashback. Batgirl will see that Batman has a boo boo on his head. Batman explains why. He says Gotham is being taken by mimes (Joker's men). It seems that Joker might still be alive, but let's not jump to conclusions. Batman will pay Harley Quinn a visit at the old Funnibones warehouse. Harley will tell him the last time Harley saw Joker was the night he died on Gotham Bridge. Therefore, Batman heads for the Gasworks level.

Stage 17: Gasworks

Here, run right until you reach that weird looking jack-in-the-box stupid thing. When it's head pops out, get a batarang and cut it's head off (Kill the rest of the toys you see like this). From there, run left, avoiding the two bridges, to a ladder. Climb up there, and beat up the two goons at the top (optional). After that, run to the waterwheel at the top right corner near the door and spin it (with Y). You will see the first of three sewage pipes close. Two more to go.

Go through the door just next to you and make your way down the hall and stop. The first fence flooring falls when you step on it, so watch out. Jump over and continue on. Run across the path and beat up the goon at the end (optional). Now, spin the waterwheel next to him and close 2 of 3 sewage pipes. One more!!

Now, jump off the bridge just to your right, and land next to a passageway, a pit and two Joker toys. Kill the toys (optional) and make your way down the passageway to the door. Go through, run down the hall, and stop. You should be in a massive room. (**IF YOU WANT ENVELOPE D, YOU SHOULD GO DOWN TO THE CHEAT ENVELOPE LOCATIONS SECTION AND CONTINUE FROM THERE). Now, don't enter the room - for there is a bunch of guys all around with machine guns that will massacre you if you run right into the middle of the room. So, stay close to the boxes and out of sight. You should notice your grapple signal flashing by now, so take out your Bat-Grapple and aim across the room at the target. Shoot, and get to the platform. Beat up the guy there (optional) and keep going (I suggest you don't stop - you should be surrounded by flying bullets right now). Run to the edge of this platform and jump to the next one. Beat up the guy there (optional), and turn the waterwheel near him to close the final sewage pipe. That path is accessible to cross now, but you have to find it first, don'tcha?

So, backtrack a little bit, and jump to a passage in the wall with three lights above it. Go in, and run down the hall. You will encounter two of those stupid toy things, so kill 'em. Now, stand on the edge and look down with the c-stick in Freelook mode. See the clearest and closest platform to you? You have to jump/glide there. See the sewage pouring out of that huge pipe? Don't touch it unless you want to drown in a mass of pee, crap and snot. So, jump to that platform down there (before you do, you might want to get that box of Batarangs on the platform you're on, it's up to you). As I was saying, jump to the platform down there. When you land, turn around, and jump to the next platform with the grapple target (Don't grapple onto it - you can't anyway) and continue on. Keep jumping from platform to platform (avoiding the sewage), as you get lower and lower down this massive pipe. Don't stop until you get to a rusty, metal platform with a very thin ledge right next to the sewage. You can't press yourself against the wall and go across - you don't even need to. Just carefully run across the thin ledge to the end (avoiding the sewage). Now, look down from there with Freelook mode, and you should see a wooden platform down there. So, jump/glide down there (avoiding the sewage). Once again, hop from platform to platform (avoiding the sewage) until you land on an odd looking wooden platform that leads to that path you opened by closing the pipes. So, grab the health to the left, and continue to the following room.

Okay, be careful here. As you have probably already noticed, you haven't reached a checkpoint yet, so if you die, you know what will happen, and you will probably start smashing the controller against the wall until it breaks OR pick up your Gamecube and toss it out the window if you DO die. Your choice. So no stupid stunts. You CAN die here, the guys can kill you, or you could fall down a pit. BE CAREFUL.

Okay, here we go. Massacre the Joker toy in front of you first. And as you enter this room, you'll notice you are being shot at. So take out a Batarang, turn right, look into the top corner, and you will see a guy with a gun. Hit him with the batarang to disarm him, so he won't bother you anymore. So, CAREFULLY run across the platform you opened (by turning the waterwheels) and make your way to a guy. Beat him up, run to the right and WATCH OUT FOR THE PIT!!! There is a pit dividing the big platform and the platform you're on, so carefully jump/glide over it, ignore the guy attacking you (optional) and quickly run through the door to the left. Don't celebrate yet - you still have two Joker toys and a goon to get past. Kill the Joker toys, jump into the room with the goon, beat him up (optional), check behind the first rusty pillair for a box of Remote Charges, turn back, run up the hill, go through the door, get into the next room, turn around and head to the opening with no door to get into a cut-scene.

Batman will see a goon grabbing Joker toys and putting them into an abandoned gas pipe. Batman will talk to Batgirl about it, and Batgirl will say that those pipes trace the entire city, and asks what is trying to be burned down. Batman says he will attatch the Fire-Sprinkler system pipes with the Gaswork pipes and drown the toys with sewage. Batgirl will explain how to do it. She makes the job sound so complicated and long, but if you follow me carefully, this will only take a few minutes.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE REACHED A CHECKPOINT! You can goof up now if you want, but I reccommend we finish this level for good in the next five minutes. So, from here, walk toward the goon and his toys to activate the toys. Go back out the room, and let the toys follow you out. There, kill them all with Batarangs, run into the room again, and beat up the thug (optional). After that, flip the switch there to rotate some pipes. Now don't get confused, just keep following me. Exit the room through the door beside the switch, and notice your grapple signal is flashing. Look up to the next floor of platforms, and grapple up there with your Bat-Grapple. Beat up the thug there (optional), run right and enter another small room. Flick the switch in there, then go back out. From the door, take out your Bat-Grapple and grapple to the next floor. Beat up the thug there (optional), and run right to another small room. Flick the switch in there, and Batman will say to Batgirl through radio he's completed the pipe connections. Batgirl will say that you have to turn the flywheels now, so finish talking to her and exit the room. Run across the platform and jump off it, landing on the floor below. Now, look up to the platform with the three big flywheels and grapple onto it, and grab the left-most one with Y. Press and hold Y while holding onto that wheel to turn it. Keep turning it until you align the green mark on the wheel with the green mark on the wall. Do the same with the next two wheels (to switch from wheel to wheel, use left/right on the control stick. If you did it right, the pipes will twist in the opposite direction. Then you will enter a cut-scene.

Batman will ask Batgirl why the water isn't pumping. Batgirl will say that someone must've closed the valve. To your left, a goon (the man behind the valve-closing) will kick down his door and hold a gun at you.

Disarm this idiot with a Batarang, glide over there, K.O. him (optional) and turn the big lever in this final small room with Y to open the valve. Now, go to the man tied up in the corner to enter a cut-scene.

You will see the Joker toys get drowned in sewage. Then you will find out the man tied up in the corner of that room is none other than... ISAAC EVERS!?!? He will explain that he did not want to burn the entire city, just some insurance building. So he hired The Joker's men to put the toys into the pipes. But the clowns lost control, tied Isaac up, and decided to burn down the entire city instead. He says he never wanted to hurt anybody...

Batman will take Isaac outside, and will find the commissioner with a swat team behind him. The commissioner will ask Batman what is going on, and suddenly, A BATARANG HITS THE COMMISSIONER IN THE FACE!! You didn't do it, though! Batman looks for a place to run (the entire swat team is holding him at gunpoint), and grapples onto a moving helicopter and lands on a rooftop. And so begins... Swat Chase.
