Mission Statement
Horse Power, by Equine Learning Center, Inc., believes *“all kids are capable of success, no exceptions“. When kids feel good about themselves, they're open to learning.Similarly, communication and experiential equine learning brings forth innovative group team work that can change with way people work together and approach and finish tasks. Training OfferedEquine Facilitated or Assisted Learning with the Character Education Model, for students grades 6-8 for 12 or 24 weeks in two-hour sessions. Weight Loss Support Groups with Equine Assisted Learning, 2 hours, for groups of 8. Children and Adult groups are separate. Horses challenge your belief systems and provide an opportunity to get 'unstuck'. Staff revitalization for small and large businesses for groups as large as 30 for 3 hours in arena and 1 1/2 hours follow-up at work. Why do we use horses?Horses live in the 'here and now'. As large prey animals, they have a unique and impressive intuition interpreting human behavior that they 'mirror' through their body language. Equine feedback is immediate and genuine. Thoughts and feelings never before experienced are surfaced for awareness, acceptance and an opportunity for change.
