Olson's firearms training
Olson's firearms trianing and guiding service is located in Southwest Oklahoma. We provide firearms training and outdoor education. We currently teach Okahoma SDA Concealed Carry Classes, official NRA courses, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife courses and Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training continuing education courses. Most of our classes are taught here in Southwest Oklahoma, but we do have the ability to take the classes to other locations upon request. We also provide guided hunts for deer, turkey, quail, dove, waterfowl and predators.
Our mission is to introduce new people to shooting sports and other outdoor activities while promoting firearm safety and training.
SDA CLASSES
We provide Oklahoma CLEET SDA concealed carry classes. These classes are OSBI and CLEET approved. The classes are in intooduction to firearms safety and the laws pertaining to the Oklahoma Self Defense Act. To obtain your Oklahoma Concealed Carry Permit you must first complete one of these courses. The classes are 8 hours in length and are taught both in a classroom and on the range. The price of the class is $60.00 and upon completion of the class you will receive a free NRA Liberty membership. To enroll in one of the classes you must pre-enroll, so please contact me to enroll. NRA CLASSES
We provide NRA certified instruction in most areas from pistol, rifle, shotgun, muzzloader, home safety to reloading. We also provide NRA marksmanship awards. Please see the class calander for class dates or contact us to set up a class.
HUNTER EDUCATION CLASSES
We provide Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Hunter Education classes, the classes are free of charge and are 10 hours long. See the class calander for class dates.
GUIDED HUNTS
We provide very reasonably priced guided hunts in Southwest Oklahoma. We only hunt fair chase "wild animals", not pen raised animals. We have great populations of most wildlife and all of our hunting areas are managed so that the animals have good habitat and are not over hunted.
