Pokemania
Hi!I'm virtumon7!Welcome to the webpage for info about pokemon.I just LUV them don't U?
Well do you know that there is a silver and gold editon comic books coming? So far...have you read any pokemon comic books? For me yes!If you are from Singapore, don't forget to watch Pokemon 5 on kids central at 10.30am on Satuday and Pokemon 3 on kids central at 10.30am on Sunday! Now back to the basics...
The main characters:
Ash-The hero of the show, Ash Ketchum is an energetic and determined 10-year-old on his Pokémon journey. Anxious to be the best and a little too competitive, Ash wants more than anything to become the world's foremost Pokémon Master. With the help of his friends, Ash is constantly trying to catch up to Gary, his snotty rival from his hometown, Pallet Town. Ash's Pokémon come in all flavors, unlike his themed companions.
Misty-Headstrong and stubborn, Misty is the former Cerulean City gym leader and a keeper of water Pokémon. Originally joining the group to be remunerated for the destruction of her bike, Misty's taken a liking to the journey itself. Constantly quibbling with Ash over this and that, Misty seems to harbor deeper feelings for Ash - not that she'd ever admit this, of course.
Brock-The eldest and wisest of the traveling trio, Brock is also by far the most hormonal. Brock's fascination with the opposite sex many times gets him or the group into trouble, although he's yet to have anything resembling a score. Formerly the leader of the Pewter City gym, Brock mostly carries rock Pokémon. In addition to being a formidable opponent in battle, Brock aspires to be the world's best Pokémon breeder.
Pikachu-It's hard to say who's the real star of the Pokémon TV series, but Pikachu is definitely a contender. An adorable electric-mouse Pokémon, Pikachu staunchly defends his friends Ash, Misty, and Brock and stands up for all Pokémon-kind. Like all other Pokémon, Pikachu can only communicate by repeating his name over and over with various inflection. Pikachu is constantly pursued by the nefarious Team Rocket, due to his superior strength.
Team Rocket-Prepare for trouble, make it double.... Jessie, James, and Meowth are the three bumbling field agents for Team Rocket, a mysterious and evil gang looking to steal rare Pokémon. Jessie and James are stuck up, fashion conscious, and prone to cross-dressing. Their introductory chant, while said once almost every episode, always receives a humorous spin to prevent it from getting old. Meowth is a Pokémon that, oddly enough, can actually talk like a human being. Together, they try their hardest to capture Ash's Pikachu, but they ultimately fail.
