The "Sparbuch" itself is a folded piece of cardboard with a few stapled pages,
not entirely unlike the simple savings accounts of years gone by.
This account has a number of huge advantages over any other type of account
offered by banks outside Austria.
1. It does not need to carry any name. It can be issued to ANY name, either a
fictitious name, or more commonly to "Ueberbringer," or passbook holder. What
all this means is that quite simply the person who possesses the passbook is
presumed to be the rightful owner of the account.
2. Austria currently has the tightest bank secrecy laws of any country. So,
the "Sparbuch" is now truly the world's only anonymous bank account, although
just to make certain, no statements are mailed out - ever. No paper trail is
created, which means nothing can be intercepted by money-grubbing people who
would love to ruin your day. Instead of regular statements, the "Sparbuch" is
updated automatically and any interest accrued is added whenever the passbook
is presented to the issuing bank.
It is absolutely, unquestionably impossible to establish just who opened the
account (and who owns it) by means of checking available records, as no
identifiable records ever were created nor will be created. All information
the bank has is stored only under an account number. Not even the bank knows
who has actually opened the account.
3. It is completely legal to transfer the "Sparbuch" from one person to
another WITHOUT notifying the bank or anyone else; simply hand over the
passbook and presto - new account owner.
Finally, the "Sparbuch" is completely safe. Although not strictly necessary,
each account is issued with a "code word" (Losungswort), a combination of
letters chosen by the account holder himself, not the bank. If the passbook is
lost, a new one can be issued by contacting the bank with the control number
and the code word.
As a rule, "Sparbuch" accounts do not offer very high interest rates, normally
3 to 5% annually.
The Government stands as guarantor for your deposit. Saving Accounts and
Saving Books-with state guarantee!
The Schilling is tied to the Mark and is therefore, also a very reliable
currency and will be . It offers greater stability than even the Swiss franc.
Making a deposit is simple. Cash in any currency can be hand- carried into the
bank and plonked down, no questions asked. It will be converted to the
appropriate currency, i.e., the Austrian currency, before being credited to
the account. This can either be done by yourself or left to a trusted friend.
SWIFT transfers are also possible. It will then be converted into EURO or
Schillings before it is credited to your account.
If the purpose of having either of those two accounts is to fully avoid
leaving any clues that may eventually lead to yourself, including your
fingerprints, why show up at the bank in person? Bank employees have, on
occasion, been known to have frightfully good memories. So, why not consider
letting someone else do the job for you? Time is money, and letting someone
else go through the entire procedure makes sense in more ways than one.
Our company has established contact with an Austrian law firm offering to open
both accounts for you with no hassle whatsoever.
In order to open an account, we do not ask you to complete documents,
application forms,
confirmations, photocopy of passports or identity cards ... Each account

to a name different from your own or no name at all, and, of course, mail drop
