Biography of Fred R. Welsh, CPP
Fred R Welsh is the president of Citadel Associates, New Jersey, New York and Florida offices. He has a comprehensive background in the many aspects of large-scale security operations, multiple ownership operations, investigations and corporate security. He has been instrumental in the design and implementation of undercover shopping investigations, regulatory liaisons throughout the country and Canada. Numerous high profile assignments for Fortune 500 companies, Atlantic City NJ casinos, major chain companies and law firms have been managed by Mr. Welsh nation-wide.
Prior to establishing Citadel Investigations, Mr. Welsh held the position of Director of Corporate Security for several major corporations having multiple holdings throughout the United States. Duties included training security personnel, planning and instituting security operations at all levels. He reported directly to senior management.
Mr. Welsh has a distingquished record of achievement while in service as a Police Detective in New Jersey. He has attended numerous Federal, State and County training courses. His education continued in the private sector in the areas of private corporate security. He possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Management and holds Certificates of Completion in Security Management, Financial Fraud Investigations and Business Management through John Jay College NY.
Mr. Welsh is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security. He has trained and worked personally with State agents of California, Florida, Georgia and New York relative to shopping investigations in their respective States.
He is a recognized expert in his field and has been interviewed by Dateline NBC, and the Oprah Winfrey Show.
